My bench: Jurrah, McKenzie, Jetta

Sub: Dunn

Congrats to Flash for getting to 150 games, I'm really hoping he can turn it on. He's been average but I've been willing to forgive due to his long lay off through injury, but this is a game he has to stand up. I still remember back when he was a wide-eyed youngster, one game he played against the tigers (I think it might've been his second game) and he gathered the ball on the wing while surrounded by tigers, he stopped, they stopped, and then he flicked on the jets and burned them all off.

Hoping for a big one from Jurrah as well!

Good on you and I hope he turns it on too, but I still haven't gotten over Flash's one arm in the air StKilda game, fail to understand how he is still in the side, thought his efffort last week was ??? as was CS, can't understand the selection of this this weeks team, still smarting over the Russian's game against the Bulldogs where he was murdered by Hudson ( arguably our most important game and when the underperforming nature of our whole football was exposed)so politelely request the players completely smash Richmond this week or bring on the kids.

Backs Colin Garland James Frawley Clint Bartram

Half backs Aaron Davey Jared Rivers Joel Macdonald

Centreline Sam Blease Brent Moloney Tom Scully

Half forwards Jack Trengove Stef Martin Jeremy Howe

Forwards Ricky Petterd Jack Watts Brad Green

Followers Mark Jamar Colin Sylvia Nathan Jones

Interchange (from) Jamie Bennell Lynden Dunn Neville Jetta Liam Jurrah Jordie McKenzie Cale Morton Daniel Nicholson

In Jamie Bennell Brad Green Neville Jetta Liam Jurrah

Out Luke Tapscott (soreness)

Tapscott has been pretty ordinary the last few weeks been non-influential so not that fussed he's rested given its his first full season at the top level.

Would like the final bench to be: McKenzie, Dunn, Jurrah, Nicholson

Green was lucky to slot back in from"injury"

Look forward to seeing Blease on the G.

Jurrah and Green in, Tappy and Nicholson out. Dunn the Sub.

I am going on Sunday for one reason.

To have a good look at Blease.

After his terrible start to AFL football with injuries

It will be interesting to see how he goes on the G

As there has been times when I saw him at Casey that I doubted he had what it takes.

Surprised to see Nicho out for Bennell... i guess they are similar in ways, and Nicho might be getting tired. Bennell hasn't really deserved it from his Casey reports though?

No issues with Jurrah for Dunn, and Green had to come back obviously...

So the pea hearts come back in, I sense because the club thinks they can win this game. Great. Todd Viney's tough stance didn't last long.

If Morton is the sub it will be an epic failure again.

Will Davey really play off half back? Can Rivers play tight on Vickery, he was close to been destroyed by him last time we played. Can Stef Martin play forward (and long term he needs to play forward) and make an impact?

[censored] hell, its painfully clear that monkeys on typewriters could do a better job selecting the team each week.

Why on earth is the team insisting with Jamie Bennell, he is the embodiment of Melbourne's failings over the past decade. Too small, can't kick, no footy brain and is as soft as butter. There is no harm in keeping Nicho in, heck he deserves his spot much more than Brad Green deserves his.

Is JB the embodiment of the soft Melbourne culture?

Or is he affected by the soft Melbourne culture?

I am loathe to get rid of talent before the new coach can attempt to pull a few fingers out.

That's not like you to write off 20 year olds after two games (and a busted leg)!

When was the last one?

By the way Goag when was the last time you thought someone was not good enough!

Seems like everyone of our players just need another 5 years
