Is that "thinking" with a small brain?

The problem with 16yo boys is that when the blood changes direction  (from the head to other parts) at speed, thereby depriving the brain of the necessary amount of oxygen, their capacity to think is severely compromised. The good news is that this doesn’t last forever, only for 60 or so years. 😁

Something to look forward to, then.

An 86 year-old man is out fishing. He was sitting in his boat when he heard a voice say,

"Pick me up!"

He looked around and did not see any one. He thought he was dreaming until he heard the voice again.

"Pick me up." The old man looked in the water and there, floating on a lilly pad was a frog.

The man said, "Are you talking to me?"

The frog replied, "Yes, I'm talking to you. Pick me up. Then, kiss me and I'll turn into the most beautiful woman you have
ever seen. I'll make sure that all your friends are envious and jealous because you will have me as your bride."

The man looked at the frog for a minute in confusion, reached over, picked it up carefully, and placed it in his front pocket.

The frog screamed, "What, are you nuts? Didn't you hear what I said?? I said kiss me and I will be your beautiful bride!"

He opened his pocket, looked at the frog and said,

"Nah, at my age I'd rather have a talking frog."

Boom boom.

This is my favorite, great work by the Sydney Media team. We are supposed to trust the Media to get things right.

Not only have they got the wrong person, but they’ve misspelled her name… both her given name AND her surname. 😑

Footy Classified is unwatchable on Wednesday when Eddie hosts. The Pies dominate the show and it is putrid TV.

Enough is enough.

Another quiet weekend coming up.

And another quiet week to follow.

Bec Judd is in a new race starting tonight. The Amazing Race. I love how women’s sport is making headlines. 😜

Omg, another reason to stay off channel 10.

Anyone seen the price for Watermelons? K Razy!! Reminds me of the days when Banana prices went off the charts…

Argh, those were the days!

Add to my previous post, what is it with the colour red? Everything Red is crazy. If it be your hair colour or watermelons. Just seems to be drama with Red.

Apologise Mr Leg, but just saying 😳😂

Where did Red come from, other than my avatar?

Ghost are playing at John Cain Arena tonight. I was driving down Olympic Boulevard and all of sudden it looked like Halloween, but with mostly middle aged men in too much make up.

It’s been a weird week.

  • NON-MFC: Round 12

Round 12 kicks off with the Brisbane hosting Essendon at the Gabba as the Lions aim to solidify their top-two position against an injury-hit Bombers side seeking to maintain momentum after a win over Richmond. On Friday night it's a blockbuster at the G as the Magpies look to extend their top of the table winning streak while the Hawks strive to bounce back from a couple of recent defeats and stay in contention for the Top 4. On Saturday the Suns, buoyed by 3 wins on the trot, face the Dockers in a clash crucial for both teams' aspirations this season. The Suns want to solidify their Top 4 standing whilst the Dockers will be desperate to break into the 8.

  • PREVIEW: St. Kilda

The media has performed a complete reversal in its coverage of the Melbourne Football Club over the past month and a half. Having endured intense criticism from all quarters in the press, which continually identified new avenues for scrutiny of every aspect, both on and off the field, and prematurely speculated about the departures of coaches, players, officials, and various employees from a club that lost its first five matches and appeared out of finals contention, the narrative has suddenly shifted to one of unbridled optimism.  The Demons have won five of their last six matches, positioning themselves just one game (and a considerable amount of percentage) outside the top eight at the halfway mark of the season. They still trail the primary contenders and remain far from assured of a finals berth.

  • REPORT: Sydney

A few weeks ago, I visited a fellow Melbourne Football Club supporter in hospital, and our conversation inevitably shifted from his health diagnosis to the well-being of our football team. Like him, Melbourne had faced challenges in recent months, but an intervention - in his case, surgery, and in the team's case, a change in game style - had brought about much improvement.  The team's professionals had altered its game style from a pedestrian and slow-moving approach, which yielded an average of merely 60 points for five winless games, to a faster and more direct style. This shift led to three consecutive wins and a strong competitive effort in the fourth game, albeit with a tired finish against Hawthorn, a strong premiership contender.  As we discussed our team's recent health improvement, I shared my observations on the changes within the team, including the refreshed style, the introduction of new young talent, such as rising stars Caleb Windsor, Harvey Langford, and Xavier Lindsay, and the rebranding of Kozzy Pickett from a small forward to a midfield machine who can still get among the goals. I also highlighted the dominance of captain Max Gawn in the ruck and the resurgence in form in a big way of midfield superstars Christian Petracca and Clayton Oliver.

  • POSTGAME: Sydney

The Demons controlled the contest from the outset, though inaccurate kicking kept the Swans in the game until half time. But after the break, Melbourne put on the jets and blew Sydney away and the demolition job was complete.
