Then listen to Distant Heart by Asphalt Jungle, a very good instrumental, that soothes poor football team results.

Variety is the spice of life.    So they say !   be it  Cavendish or Red Jamaica,  think i prefer Lady Fingers !

Thank god bananas at $3.99 akg in Clifton Hill Cherries at $26.99 kg

is this another gender based issue?

Merry  Xmas guys and I hope you all like clams with your Xmas pudding, as Vongole is in the last at Caulfield on Boxing Day and I need a winner.

Buugger forgot to invest.

Or raid Uncle Bitters wine collection, as I do not think there is any benefit from remembering the 2019 season.

Ran 4th, great run, too far back, but flew the last 100 metres.

Winner and a 2nd last night at Cranbourne.

 Hmmmm......

Rance retires and there is almost no social media tributes from teammates. Wonder why?

I've heard that Jack Higgins might be able to spill the beans!

Indeed, dc.

As a wise friend once told me: when your pecker stands up, your brain sits down.

Good thing I missed then but may be a prelude for a longer distance win.

Congrats on Cranbourne.

Congrats on Cranbourne.

Don’t need a longer distance, just a better ride. Can’t win from 2nd last on the turn, when you were travelling well about 4th with 1000 to go and then let him drop back to nearly last.

Sounds like the MFC 2019 game plan.

I note plenty of room for the wine casks in the rear.

I think that "Fruity Lexia" in the cask is wonderful, and at a good price,  plenty of room indeed to take it up to Thredbo, but where are the ski racks.  Correct sort of car though !

Go Dees !!   bring on 2020 competition,

  • PREVIEW: Essendon

Not long ago, the narrative surrounding Melbourne was steeped in pessimism. There was some concern among the pundits (and even some fans) that the club would arrive at the AFL’s Gather Round still winless, vulnerable to a familiar adversary in the Essendon Football Club, and facing significant scrutiny from an ever-critical media on a national stage. Things have changed.

  • REPORT: Gold Coast

Steven King astutely identified the issues that had plagued the Melbourne Football Club over the past two and a half seasons when he auditioned for the newly created coaching role. The side that had claimed the 2021 premiership had become stodgy, slow-paced, and hesitant to take the initiative.
