Hahahahaha oh the vagaries of youth! Hopefully you weren't 35 at the time though? Or is she now your wife?

do those criteria need to be exclusive ??

I don't look down that end of the store

Oh I don't normally... I understand your inference but it was something I literally tripped over on the way to the Hermitage and it seemed inoffensive enough. ( that and the bank balance was....well that time of month!! )

Now there's a phrase that evokes some colourful memories!

Were you sober? Did you mistake Priceline's mouth cleanser/ bath aisle for nice bubbly?

are you familar perhaps with a little "film de maison d'art' called Boxcar Bertha then BBO ?? just asking

My film interest is entirely pornographic. They require little thought, have a simple dialogue and no matter how drunk one may be - the plot is easy to follow.

Just the thing after a couple of bottles of red, and I end up feeling blue

I agree entirely.

I alternate these art films with the occasional doco on drugs or depravity.

One must maintain a hobby.

Too much interest in wine alone, or bananas, makes one dull.

I rarely drink wine alone. I always have the wife sitting in front of me with her tie

No, just wearing a tie

No, just wearing a tie

OK.

Who wears the pants?

No need for those

I fear for the poor soul that stumbles into this thread. Must seem overwhelmingly sophisticated to the unwary.

But heaps of fun, surely? Got to sign off for now, pork meat balls in home made spag sauce is calling me... as well as the red!

Let me get this straight Clit. A typical night in the Cli t household. You slog down a couple of bottles of expensive red (via the medium of a reidel glass of course) while your dutiful missus lolls about (in dreamy expectation) in a tie. I'm guessing the the only interruption to this blissful domestic tableau is the the phone calls from your golf partner, or customers, or mates, who give you valuable insights to the inner working of the MFC.

You must be watching us with a telescope! Have just closed the curtains. Yes I'm back. the tagliatelle is not quite al dente!

Actually it was my only .................. for that night. It was a rushed , shabby and uncomfortable event. Not worth repeating.

That's one of the nicest things I've ever had said about me dc. I'm reaching for the kleenex and the lads are also honking and snivelling. He is a hero to me and I aspire to reach his level of morality. A short but wonderfully decadent life.

somehow...not suprised

More red please!!!!!!!!

Reminds me of the time I was marooned on a deserted Island after a plane crash with Elle McPherson.

For weeks we subsisted on fish and coconuts.

Eventually, she relaxed on her usual desire for men who have billions of bucks and she joined me in my hut for a night of unbridled passion.

The next day ,just me and Elle sat there thinking of something else to do when I asked her to put on my suit and tie that I had salvaged from the wreck.

"It's too hot " she complained ,

"If it's ok with you I'd like you to try it just for a day.

So she put on the suit and walked the 50 metres around the Island and as she came back I rushed up to her and put my arm around her, whispering in her ear,

"Mate, you'll never believe who I've been [censored]. "

  • PREVIEW: Richmond

A few years ago, the Melbourne Football Club produced a documentary about the decade in which it rose from its dystopic purgatory of regular thrashings to the euphoria of a premiership victory. That entire period could have been compressed in a fast motion version of the 2025 season to date as the Demons went from embarrassing basket case to glorious winner in an unexpected victory over the Dockers last Saturday. They transformed in a single week from a team that put in a pedestrian effort of predictably kicking the ball long down the line into attack that made a very ordinary Bombers outfit look like worldbeaters into a slick, fast moving side with urgency and a willingness to handball and create play with shorter kicks and by changing angles to generate an element of chaos that yielded six goals in each of the opening quarters against Freo.
