Can't be certain Earl, but general consensus is that he's departed this (demon)land. I think BBO is trying to be the new 'land spiritual leader, pathetically I might add.

Mine is definitely calf problems. The last 4 years I have found I can pull a soft tisue at any time. I keep pulling muscles, tendons or ligaments in either leg. It has stuffed my tennis career! As I have stated elsewhere Serena Williams and I have six US Opens between us but I am now sidelined. All I can do is ride a bike or swim, no adrenalin there!

Trust me, there's a fair bit of adrenaline when careening downhill at over 70kph on a bike, or when a car pulls across in front of you and brakes hard to turn left.

And I sympathise re calf muscles. Done a couple of those in recent years, plus a hammy, broken ankle and broken toe. Field hockey is not a game for softcocs as I have realised.

Very sad to hear that news I always looked to LW for a balanced opinion. I know at times I thought he had over indulged in sacrificial wine but he usually gave us a balanced view of the world. Albeit a conservative one from the past.

It consisted of a match simulation for one half  and then a free choice activity time.     Whichever way you look at it, the Melbourne Football Club’s 2024 season can only be characterized as the year of its fall from grace. Whispering Jack looks back at the season from hell that was. After its 2021 benchmark premiership triumph, the men’s team still managed top four finishes in the next two seasons but straight sets finals losses consigned them to sixth place in both years.
