Tomorrow's headline: "Bullied lonely Scully wants out- says wedgies from teammates have caused him severe knee pain"

Is this seriously what this Scully situation has come to?

Who the [censored] works with people and loves every single one of them? I sure as hell don't and just like Scully my priority at work is to excel and get ahead not to socialize with morons.

Scully and Blease seem to definately be close mates at the club. Living near Swan street I have seen Sculls and Blease chatting outside the same cafe on several occasions. I've also seen Sculls catching up with some bloke at 'Gloria Jeans' cafe (seriously, what is the world coming to). I couldn't make out who Scully was talking to...probably sheedy come to think about it.

At training scully is incredibly focussed and doesn't seem too interested in chatting or trying to crack jokes...he knows what he wants and single mindedly goes about achieving it. People keep talking about how loyal Tom is, I reckon he would have a bunch of really close mates and isn't worried about trying to fit in and be socially popular - he just wants to be successful and anyone that wants success will gain his respect. He doesn't strike me as arrogant in the FIGJAM Nathan Buckley mould, but anything less that absolute dedication isn't good enough for Tom. He doesn't drink, he is super serious, thus he might not be hanging with the twitter crowd - but I have no doubt the boys love him lining up on game day and have huge respect for him.

For the conspiracy theorists out there - There is interesting footage from last season in the rooms after a game (can't remember which round - one of our few wins for the year). As the boys are coming down into the rooms to sing the song, Brent Moloney is whooping and hollering right next to Scully, who looks completely disinterested in that sort of behaviour. They sing the song next to each other and after the song Moloney actually grabs Scully on the chest in a celebratory fashion, but he's also trying to get some emotion out of Scully, to which Scully responds with a shake of the hand. To me it looks like Scully just doesn't like that type of carry on, it's always the bigger picture with Tom. It struck me as strange at the time, read into it what you will.

We can make up as many conspiracy theories as we like, but we have no idea what's really going on. I bloody hope he stays - he is going to be the next Dane Swan/Joel Selwood.

Did he have a green terry towelling hat on with a pair of secateurs in his back pocket?

If I was Scully, I'd want Brent Moloney out of my face too. There are two types of good people. One type is quiet and just goes about their business with as little fuss as possible. The other loves to get everyone involved and revved up at every opportunity. Guess which one Beamer belongs to.

i read this on Dustin Martin's twitter - "PGA comp at my joint. Axel/Chotch v 'Lids/Sculls v JR8/Whitey.. Boys pumped for tomoz."

Not sure how much there is to this either, and not sure how much I care to be honest, but t has got me thinking. Whilst there is most likely nothing to the twitter theory, I have noticed a definite reduction in twitter mentions of him. During preseason there were constant mentions from Jonesy about training hard with "my boy Sculldog" etc, etc. However, since the whole Eddie on the radion incident, they have been virtually nonexistent.

Here's another theory...since Scully hasn't been training or playing it's no surprise we don't have as many mentions of how well 'Sculldog' is going...

OMG Skullz is going to Richmond!!!!!!11

I guess Beamer and Rivers want to go to Carlton because they hang out with McLean so much. FFS people, get a grip!

Anyone heard the story that on mad Monday Scully was at a pub and walked passed some smokers. He caught a bit of passive smoke so immediately went home and went for a 5km run to punish himself for copping second hand smoke. Not sure if its true or not. If it is it's a fanatical commitment to being the best, which is either very good or crazy.

Would he submit to the ultimate punishment and play for us if I blew smoke from my big fat Cohiba into his face?

Good post, Scully is just the ultimate proffessional. However I would like to see him play with passion when he comes back.

I would like to see him dominate and play like a gun.

Judd has no passion for anything but his own form and bank account. Doubt anyone at Carlton cares. In fact, I doubt Judd regularly hangs out with idiots like Betts, Russell and Robinson!

Nah Carlton didn't want him.

He'll never be any good because of his small hands.

Jaded,

I understand that you have a problem with the 1000 Tom Scully threads on here.

But why waste your negativity here? There is so many other threads which are yet to be negativitilized by your comments.. (actually for you, i dont think there are many left)

No one really cares....

This thread was created to discuss a rumour of the mature players in our playing group boycotting Scully.

Your right, its probably not true. But I want to see what some other fellow Melbourne supporters have to say on it.. Its not like we are cutting down trees to discuss it, this is all up in the cloud

I didnt realise he was such an intravert, but thanks to this thread, now I know.

I tried to warn people before opening this thread, but instead, you ignore that and bore everyone in here... You don't have to open it, but for us to talk about this topic, we have to read your crap

Pretty sure I presented some very relevant counter arguments.

This place can use more laughs and a hell of a lot less panic stricken, drama-filled threads.

Just like you have the right to clog up the forum with yet another Scully thread, I have the right to laugh at the hysteria.

And do you know what people care less about? Conclusions drawn from Twitter accounts!

Firstly, if you hate Scully threads.... then find another one... I want to discuss this topic

One thing that has been on my mind is Tom Scully and his friends at the club.

I follow alot of the players twitter accounts and they are regularly talking with each other and posting status's about hanging out with each other etc.

One thing I have noticed is Tom's name never comes up in these status, they never say he is with them when they do things together. It seems that watts, trenners, tap and morton all go for dinner together, wouldn't scully normally be in that group? He is never mentioned on Blease's account either, who I thought was his best mate?

Do you think its true that the senior players don't want anything to do with him until he commits? That attitude would be pushed onto our younger group too.. If Tom's decision has not been made yet, this would not be helping..

Its childish if true...

Anyone know anything about this?

I think you'll find that Tom has a very straight line and committed approach to his football and life, he may well be there with those guys and may not want his name mentioned with them on the likes of Facebook or Twitter, some people if they are not into it can be quite funny about other people referring to them or posting photos of them and it's understandable I think especially while he has not signed. I'm sure all of those guys like a drink as well but it is well publicised that Tom doesn't!

A long bow to draw I feel!

Go Dees!

Of which she is one daveytrain and her opinion, whether you like it or not is equally as valid as any other.....

And she has a point about the sheer number of rumours and unsubstantiated comments doing the rounds in here.

You were looking for a particular answer, that's fine of course, but this is another unfounded comment on this kid in a sea of the same.

Ive never heard Matty Warnocks name mentioned on any of their twitter banter. Does this mean he has also been ostrasiced by the cool kids, as they figure he's off to the Suns on a multi year million dollar deal? Say it aint so!

I try hard to not sledge other posters but threads like this make it really hard...

Scully and Blease are great mates, I also understand that he's got strong friendships with Gysberts and Watts as well.

i heard that when scully enters the gym, every one leaves.
