The Bell at the end of a terrible week or so. Thanks melbourneFC players,,, I feel better now !

forgot it was Mothers Day so only watched the box, Plenty of highlights but the intensity and not giving up even when the game was dun and dusted

still putting great pressure on the opposition late into the fourth absolutely fantastic

Go Dees Give em HELL

- after two earlier attempts, Pettard finally taking a one handed mark.

- cheering our first 60m 'tapscott special', may there be many more of them

- the replay of Jurrah's intercept goal since I wasn't looking when he first did it.

- the adelaide point after he marked 10 metres out

Definitely the Sylvia back to back goals. The boys and the crowd were reflecting the same energy I was feeling. It made the hair on the back of my neck stand up.

Broke the game wide open..and they didn't stop after it!

The warm, fuzzy feeling I got when I realised Frawls is back as he broke a tackle and left two crows in his wake

awesome

Good one Walshy.Liked it.

I liked bartys goal.....

You know it's going to be a good day if he can stroll and and just go bang!

Everyone is forgetting about daveys smother it was I think better than greens

Also liked watts ramming it thru from 1 m out reminded me of the famous footage of

The ox holding the ball up and slamming it thru.

Highlight for me was the Watts goal from 1m out. The "old" Jack would have softly kicked it through, the "new" Jack appeared to be making a statement. He's ready, his last 2 weeks have been great, and is getting better. I'd be surprised if he doesn't have a BOG game this year, kicking 4 or 5 goals.

On the telecast, they mentioned that he runs at 90% efficiency. He is a very smart footballer, and one of our best user's.

Good on ya Jack!!!

Ah Billy spot on.. their learning.

Dean Bailey in the coaches box where he belongs making some good moves, Bail to the back line and giving Barty a run on the ball.

That's what I came here to say!!! Coaches in the box.... Bring it Back!

  • REPORT: Carlton

I am now certain that the decline in fortunes of the Melbourne Football Club from a premiership power with the potential for more success to come in the future, started when the team ran out for their Round 9 match up against Carlton last year. After knocking over the Cats in a fierce contest the week before, the Demons looked uninterested at the start of play and gave the Blues a six goal start. They recovered to almost snatch victory but lost narrowly with a score of 11.10.76 to 12.5.77. Yesterday, they revisited the scene and provided their fans with a similar display of ineptitude early in the proceedings. Their attitude at the start was poor, given that the game was so winnable. Unsurprisingly, the resulting score was almost identical to that of last year and for the fourth time in succession, the club has lost a game against Carlton despite having more scoring opportunities.

  • CASEY: Carlton

The Casey Demons smashed the Carlton Reserves off the park at Casey Fields on Sunday to retain a hold on an end of season wild card place. It was a comprehensive 108 point victory in which the home side was dominant and several of its players stood out but, in spite of the positivity of such a display, we need to place an asterisk over the outcome which saw a net 100 point advantage to the combined scores in the two contests between Demons and Blues over the weekend.

  • POSTGAME: Carlton

A near full strength Demons were outplayed all night against a Blues outfit that was under the pump and missing at least 9 or 10 of the best players. Time for some hard decisions to be made across the board.
