I like it.

Bench: Watts, Petterd, Dunn. Jones(Sub)

Warnock may come in for Garland.

Also good luck to Dylan Grimes who makes his debut for the Tigers even though we know his heart beats true.

While I don't agree with you Re, Jones,,, I Do agree with wishing Dylan well, and play well boyo.*for your 2nd game.

Only one thing wrong your interchange three, they are all taller forwards.

As much as it greeves me I think the sub might be Jones with Morton at Casey.

I would actually have Dunn, Petterd, Jones and Morton the Sub with Watts at Casey.

But that will not happen

I thought thought the same thing, we want runners changing through the bench, so I thought this, >

B: Luke Tapscott, James Frawley, Clint Bartram

HB: Jared Rivers, Colin Garland, Jack Trengove

C: Aaron Davey, Jack Grimes, Jamie Bennell,

HF: Brad Green, Lynden Dunn, Jack Watts,

F: Stef Martin, Liam Jurrah, Austin Wonaeamirri

FOLL: Mark Jamar, Brent Moloney, Colin Sylvia

I/C (from): Jordan Gysberts, Nathan Jones, Rohan Bail, Sub: Ricky Petterd

Matthew Warnock, Cale Morton, James Strauss

What I want to see: Watts, Petterd, Dunn, Morton (sub)

What I think I will see: Watts, Petterd, Dunn, Jones (sub)

Jones has been bad enough to warrant being dropped, and Morton should hopefully be OK to play 1-2 quarters. Of course there is the risk that if we get an injury early that we'll have to sub Morton in for most of the game, and that might be enough for Jones to retain his spot.

Watts and Petterd do not deserve to be dropped. Dunn's spot is less sure, but I think he'll keep it. Needs to get more of the ball though.

This is what competition for spots is all about. Maric put in the short steps in round one and when he got his opportunity again on Sunday did it again. Jetta make a regulation error that shifted the momentum of the whole game. He also was playing against someone first half weho left him for dead. Hopefully they both learn more of what is required at the top level.

We got smashed at the clearances and have brought in two players who had 23 clearances between them in the VFL last week.

Correct. Glad I'm not the only one.

Dunn to Black

Jones to Power

Martin to Clark

Bennell/ Trengove to Rockliff

Beamer to Rich

Jamar needs to mix it up instead of the soft tap that is easily sharked. Belt a few fwd or to the wing - anything!

We got belted in the middle against this mob pre-season. In fact we have been belted in the middle every week! I hope the Gys can explode out of the middle.

And Wona to provide some fwd pressure and snag a few goals.

is this what`s wrong with our team, rather than worry about x amount of players need shuting down, lets aim on winning the friggin thing first and make them chase us. with all this talk about ommissions, who gets dropped when scully and jordie come back. could be a long year for jones. currently livivg in sydney for work is anoying, want to be at ground to see watt`s work rate. needs to harden up and make tackles count. probably a few guilty of that.

UP IN LIGHTS by Whispering Jack

Those who watched the 2024 Marsh AFL National Championships closely this year would not be particularly surprised that Melbourne selected Victoria Country pair Harvey Langford and Xavier Lindsay on the first night of the AFL National Draft. The two left-footed midfielders are as different as chalk and cheese but they had similar impacts in their Coates Talent League teams and in the National Championships in 2024. Their interstate side was edged out at the very end of the tournament for tea
