I love watching Jamie Cripps go.

He just keeps running and getting the ball back and moving it forward.

He goes, then he goes again, then he goes again.

Skills are good without being "elite".

Average size.

Will always be a flanker though.

The player has got to be "A" grade so anything 185 to 190 is fine. But height is not an indicator of how tall someone can play nor of an ability to win one on one.

Finding "A" grade players or players that become "A" grade are hard to come by. I suppose it all depends how you qualify "A" grade. For example I might interpret it as someone who will have a few top 5 finishes in the B&F. Or perhaps in the top 50 in the league. Or the infamous top 6 in a particular club. Or one who chalks up 150+ game career. But then again, some would respond that there are many B graders who have played more than 150+...open to interpretation.

Whilst I love discussing strengths of players I've seen "live" as well as "highlight packages", I'm more than happy to leave it up to the experts doing their job. It shouldn't necessarily hold back me from commenting on perceived requirements or assisting posters like yourself when a question is posed.

another phantom draft on big footy said that jacobs was a bit undisciplned and was a handful for a coach. It is really hard to gauge who is right/wrong from all these so called junior football experts. But I like the fact that he undertook the services of a sprint coach over the summer.

Not true at all mate, got mates that play with him they say his a gun.

Would be happy if we got him with pick 12 personally.

(Sandringham Dragons, 18, 186cm, 82kg)

A natural ball-winner — just keeps getting it, wherever he's playing. Can play off half-back or through the middle and has worked hard at his deficiencies. Most notably,hired a sprint coach when told last year that his pace needed improvement. Has a nice, long kick, is strong willed and takes his footy seriously.

Where will he be picked?

Might be looked at by Adelaide at No. 14, or Melbourne before then, but could well be the midfielder who slips a bit and gets picked up in the mid to late 20s.

Don't ever really hear of draftees playing 47-possession games in the state carnivals, so I was more than a little impressed. Has already played a bit of footy with Scully and Gysberts, the club apparently have big wraps on him and he seems to have a build that's ready for a round 1 debut next year. He looks a bargain at pick 12.
