[censored] MFC, [censored] MC, [censored] THE RAMS! [censored] [censored] [censored]

Sorry mate it must have been tough for you. When hill went down you really had no chance. Vikings pounced on defense and set up easy TD's with field position. Paterson not Peterson got us going on offense. You reckon Case keenum starts as your QB next week?

Romo 3 ints.. not a good start, is it another lost season in Dallas?

They are in deep strife. 49ers could've won by plenty but stalled in the 2nd half. The boys defense is just plain and simply bad. They were the worst last year and they haven't improved at all so far.

No idea mate, sport is making my life miserable...

Davis did ok, but, yeah you would think Keenum will start if he has the offense down well enough after these few weeks.

Hello again boys!!!

Good to see my old thread on here still going strong years later.... page 83....

Look at the Eagles fly!

WTF CHicago? Losing to the bills.

Would love to say I'm surprised. But as I said above a Bills win wasn't going to surprise me at all. Our defense blows and it's the coaching that's the biggest issue although the personnel is still louse. Our offensive line and WR's had injuries so it came down to Cutler doing enough and instead he made one of the worst INT's you can make. I really should've picked a team with either no QB and hoped they drafted a good one or a franchise QB. The bears have the worst possible situation, they are tied to a borderline franchise QB too good to cut with no replacement but not good enough to win games he should.

If our defense wasn't so lousy I'd suggest we draft a QB in the first round next year and light a fire under Jay. But we have so much work to do to fix the defense

Ah Georgiou... that surprises me. I rate da behrs quite highly. Took Cutler as my QB in fantasy too...

Could it be possible it was just a bumpy start for week 1? I have them as my second wild card team?

Yeah to be honest, that is a damn awful situation. I think pretty much everyone feels sorry for Rams. Are you sort of partly glad now that you'll look past Bradford in the future? I mean.... Mariotta will be in the draft this year?

Yeah I think it is all on your defense. Every time we play you A.P has a field day. I still thought that E.J hadn't done anything for Buffalo and if it was a shootout your boys would win. Cutler can play but it is so hard to tell if he is the man or not. I would stick with him. QB's like him are hard to find and it's even worse when you draft the wrong one. Ponder was a pick 12 for us. It set us back 3 years. My Vikes have a terrible schedule and will fall away. Hopefully for you the Bears can match it with Green Bay through the year to take out the NFC North.

Jerry Jones is starting to look like Al Davis at the end, but with hooker pics.

Broncs D is still such a worry.

Viks good win to start off.

Jerry Jones needs to make a smart football decision and not have anything to do with it. He is the best owner in the league by far but he should step down as GM. The vikes win was good albeit against a 3rd string QB. We have a defence for the first time in a decade. I don't know if it's any good but at least we have one. Our new found defence gets tested pretty early. Our next 5 weeks we have Brady then Brees,Matt Ryan,Rodgers and then Megatron/Stafford.

Yeah. What happens if you go 3-3? Or 2-3 now that you've won one... Surely you must be thinking postseason?

Love it. Only the NFL comes up with cool stuff like this...

So cowboy from hell, but Vikes fan?

Yeah mate. Cowboy From Hell is the Pantera in me. I'd say Dallas will be very close to hell soon. I give it till week 7 until Jerry Jones asks Paul Roos what he is up to after he is finished with us.

You must be happy with the Eagles. I don't understand all the chatter about Foles not being the man. He threw 2 picks last year. The Skins,Cowboys and Giants have plenty of issues. Are you quietly confident of taking out the division with ease? Cheers for making this thread mate. It has kept me sane around here.

Nah I don't think the Vikes are playoff material. Bears will still win games, Packers are the Packers and Detroit could blow us all away. I'd be happy with 7-9 this year.

Some quite interesting results today ... Pats go down and all the other teams in the AFC East had wins - who knew?

The Vikings looked good, The Falcons and Texans might be back but Clowney may have torn his meniscus, Romo was Romo (again) and the Eagles scored 34 unanswered points with that fast paced offense.

Buffalo win at Soldier Field - really? Pittsburgh beat the Browns for the umpteenth time in a row and Rex is happy with his Jets. The Panthers won without Newton which is great for them and Cinci won an important game.

...and I'm still working my way through redzone after putting in a 12 hour day at work. No chance of dozing off though - the action is frenetic. Redzone rules!

And surprise, surprise ... no one scored a point in the comp ... we all sit on zero points ^_^

Nice to see 'Striker' make an appearance here and welcome back Dappa!

Yeah. As a die-hard Eagle, watching Romo screw up today on 7mate after a massive relief of a second half was pretty awesome.

Yeah I am happy with Eagles generally. However, we haven't played anyone yet. Jacksonville aren't very good (getting better) and they made us play absolutely disgusting footy for a whole half. And yeah I think you'll find Foles isn't THAT great. Chip Kelly is a freaking genius... But Foles can be patchy. Take today, he was all over the shop the whole time... missing easy throws. It's the scheming and clever use of TEs and WRs that gets them open. The Maclin TD was because Chip had confused the hell out of Jacksonville's players.

I think Eagles will take Division. And SHOULD win a playoff game. But there's no superbowls for them this year. Wow Seattle are good. And there's about 4 other NFC teams better than Eagles. Or at least more proven.

Yeah NFL is the only relief out there for me. Other than the Ashes last year.

I think you should keep a weather eye out on Vikes. They'll be up to their ears in it all year. Too much talent not to be.

The thing that's most interesting about last weekend (and forgive the homer sound) is that Seattle looks even further ahead of the competition...you have the Pats dropping to Miami and looking average, Denver's first half looking great but their second half terrible, San Francisco only steamrolling because the Cowboys D is awful, Saints dropping to Atlanta...the Seahawks just look so goddamn dangerous by comparison.

100% agree. I had a mate who likes a bet ask me who to bet on. I said Seattle. He said which game. I said, whichever one you want...

They really could go 16-0

You can join anytime, Dappa ... details page 81 of this thread (first post) It's fairly basic - 3 tips only ... all have to be road teams and if you get all 3 right, you get a point for that week (we also have bonus weeks) .... Page 81

Only problem is ... it's damn near impossible to get a point! Bit of fun though, all the same.

Won't go 16-0...we will at least drop the game in San Francisco.

If we don't...look out, there's a train a-coming.

Jefferson and Kentfield looked big and strong.  Petty was doing all the training. Adams looked like he was in rehab.  KE
