Well tha's it for the Eagles can't see them making the finals now losing to the Dolphins how embarrassing. There's always next year. Foles is better than Wentz.

Bring back Foles?

Just joking!

Whichever team wins your division will probably end up playing a lot better by the end of December than either team is playing now.  So there's a bit of hope with 1 home final.

lol

Yeah that's true. I think Cowboys, if they do improve, stand the best chance of doing damage. Eagles were dogs in every playoff they won the superbowl in.

lol Please... Wentz was in the MVP race before they won the superbowl. Not one serious football fan has Foles as a better player than Wentz. Before his line and receivers got decimated recently (could happen to anyone) he was in the top 10 QBs on most estimates.

Oh and in case you didn't notice, he threw 3 TDs, had 310 yards and only gave away the pick in the end on a hail Mary... still had 93 QB rating. They lost cos of their deplorable secondary. Not Wentz.

But sure... you go ahead and pick the guy who just got benched by the Jags for a Rookie.

Even so,  you should be able to beat Washington & the Giants (twice)

And if you beat Dallas as well you're in the playoffs.  A tougher draw and I'd say no real chance (because of the way you're playing right now) but if your offense plays to their best you can win all 4.

Win at home to the Giants and the team might just rally.  But you'll need your offense to get you over the line in all 4 games.  It's do-able.

Yeah. Cos Cowboys lost...

It's hard to get excited for though. Just knowing how it's just not a good squad. I've been gushing over the 49ers, Saints, Pats, Ravens and others all year. Just haven't seen a big time performance in even one game yet from the Eagles, even in one they've won. Just got past Packers, and beat Bills probably the only ones.

Some nice match ups this week;

Ravens @ Bills

49ers @ Saints

Chiefs @ Patriots

Seahawks @ Rams

We have a new leader in the tipping comp - Gorg (former winner) has shot to the front entering the home straight!  The value of 1 point is never more evident than right now.  Tough week to find 3 road winners too.  Good luck!

Ravens, Steelers, 49ers

Ravens, Steelers, Titans

Can’t believe Dallas are leading a division. Seems they are a shell of what they were.

Yeah there often seems to be at least 1 division where we see a winner by default only.  And how many times do we see those underperforming division winners win in the first week in the playoffs?  Happens a bit

If the Rams beat them next week they will not make the playoffs and Eagles win the div.

Here's hoping all my Rams love the past couple of years gives me some cred with the football gods.

Point for some of us this week. Colts should never have lost.

I feel that way about a number of 49ers games this year.

This aged well.

@Dappa Dan, tonight’s game was horrendous, but I challenge any team to play a game with only 1 WR on the field of half of it. And going into the game with only one decent WR who goes out 5 mins into the game.

In Saying that, your D didn’t look great at times and Wentz missed passes that he makes two years ago. The Eagles have i5 all in front of them, what they or the cowboys do in the last 3 weeks is undpredictable

Week 15 already!  2 points on offer in the comp and there are more than a few road teams with a chance of winning (which includes 2 or 3 standouts chances)  Could be a trap game in amongst them though.  Good luck!

  • PREVIEW: Carlton

Good evening, Demon fans and welcome back to the Demonland Podcast ... it’s time to discuss this week’s game against the Blues. Will the Demons celebrate Clayton Oliver’s 200th game with a victory? We have a number of callers waiting on line … Leopold Bloom: Carlton and Melbourne are both out of finals contention with six wins and eleven losses, and are undoubtedly the two most underwhelming and disappointing teams of 2025. Both had high expectations at the start of participating and advancing deep into the finals, but instead, they have consistently underperformed and disappointed themselves and their supporters throughout the year. However, I am inclined to give the Demons the benefit of the doubt, as they have made some progress in addressing their issues after a disastrous start. In contrast, the Blues are struggling across the board and do not appear to be making any notable improvements. They are regressing, and a significant loss is looming on Saturday night. Max Gawn in the ruck will be huge and the Demon midfield have a point to prove after lowering their colours in so many close calls.

  • REPORT: North Melbourne

I suppose that I should apologise for the title of this piece, but the temptation to go with it was far too great. The memory of how North Melbourne tore Melbourne apart at the seams earlier in the season and the way in which it set the scene for the club’s demise so early in the piece has been weighing heavily upon all of us. This game was a must-win from the club’s perspective, and the team’s response was overwhelming. The 36 point win over Alastair Clarkson’s Kangaroos at the MCG on Sunday was indeed — roovenge of the highest order!

  • CASEY: Werribee

The Casey Demons remain in contention for a VFL finals berth following a comprehensive 76-point victory over the Werribee Tigers at Whitten Oval last night. The caveat to the performance is that the once mighty Tigers have been raided of many key players and are now a shadow of the premiership-winning team from last season. The team suffered a blow before the game when veteran Tom McDonald was withdrawn for senior duty to cover for Steven May who is ill.  However, after conceding the first goal of the game, Casey was dominant from ten minutes in until the very end and despite some early errors and inaccuracy, they managed to warm to the task of dismantling the Tigers with precision, particularly after half time when the nominally home side provided them with minimal resistance.
