You would have scored well with Gurley in your fantasy league. He was on fire.

I was down by about 55 with Gurley (projected 20), Jimmy Graham (10) and Snead (5-10) left... and my opponent had Kupp (15-20) left. He was homefree. Gurley gets me 37, Snead 10... and Kupp only goes for 1.2....

Now I need Graham to get about 8 points... so 4 catches for 60 yards or so.

Horrible tackle on Kupp.

Did you guys see the hit on Cooper that knocked him out? Did not even draw a flag!

Rodgers... King of the Goats!

The late penalty against Sherman was costly for the 49ers ... they showed vision of Rodgers being tackled low but that wasn't the call.

You give Rodgers a semblance of a chance and he will make you pay.  I listened to the game and San Francisco in the end were rather unlucky to lose.  I don't believe we've played all that well so far this season but we'll need to get better after the bye.

@ Rams,  @ Pats,  vs Miami,  @ Seattle and then @ Minnesota is a tough stretch but with Rodgers at the helm,  we're always half a chance.

TBH Macca I think the niners mostly outplayed you, but the difference as always was Aaron “better than Brady” Rodgers.

The throws he made in the last were of such a high quality in clutch situations that I would think only 2, maybe three other QBs that I’ve watched over the last 25+ years could make.

Once again I think that Rodgers makes every one on that offence look better than they are, Adams excepted, quality WR. and make your HC seem like he is a good coach... I think at any other team he would have been sacked by now.

Great game. The penalty on Sherman was slightly harsh but the game was won with Rodgers, simple as that. 3 inch-perfect throws to out routes as they marched into field goal range and his throw to Adams to tie the game 30-30 was just sublime. We may have been a bit unlucky but Green Bay made the plays when it counted.

Proud of what the Niners are showing lately, still make silly mistakes but they are playing hard and are running some well designed plays on offense. Can't ask for much more.

For the Pack I wonder if this is the game that kick starts something for them. Plenty of weapons on offense, I don't mind the defensive line. Secondary a little questionable. Interested to see how this team goes.

Sherman gave the referee a clear chance to pay a penalty layz ... with 49 seconds left the one thing a defender can't do is put his arm around a WR and impede that WR.  A clear penalty but that doesn't mean the 49ers weren't unlucky to lose the game.

San Francisco played very well and it took another clutch performance from Rodgers for Green Bay to prevail.  And because of that I'm not convinced that the Packers can reach the post-season.  Maybe as a wild-card or if the Vikings falter but we'll need a good dose of luck.

We can beat any opponent on any given day because of Rodgers and his band of WR's but we can't do that all the time from what we're witnessing.

And it is a case of 'what could of been' for the 49ers with Garoppolo out injured

2 points up for grabs this week in the tipping comp.  It's quite a simple task too - just pick 3 road winners from 3 picks.  Easy as pie.  Good luck!

Leaderboard in the comp

1 - JV7,  Go the Biff,  Dr. Gonzo,  Clintosaurus,  Dappa Dan,  Macca

0 - Everyone else.

Gotta go against the Jets this week, don't think we can string 3 on the front (all at home too!?)

Macca I don’t know why I used the word harsh, I meant unfortunate. It wasn’t harsh at all, was a long day today..

Penalty every time, if the QB remains in the pocket a defender can’t initiate contact of any kind, unless of course it’s to protect themselves. But it was unfortunate, bit like in Soccer when a defender lunges and gives away a clear penalty but you still feel for them.

And if they paid all pass interference calls layz we'd have dozens of penalties per game against the defense & offense ... it depend on where the infringement happens.  In the middle of the field right under the referee's nose is asking for trouble.  Home field or away matters too.

I've always acknowledged the obtuse nature of ref calls and take the good with the bad.  In the wash-up,  Green Bay won a game on the back of some more Rodgers magic whilst the 49ers probably should have put the game away when they had the chance.

Packers will need to get a lot better if we're to figure in January.  Got the bye this week so the Packers should spend the time doing a thorough review and figure out how to get that much-needed improvement.  At Rams in week 8 will be the ultimate test for starters.

And with the QB staying in the pocket it’s even more obvious, you can get a bit of lenience if the ball is in flight at least. Silly, but not what decided the game. Not by a long shot. Thought the game was officiated well.

They made some good additions to their defense but they look like they still need some time.

Khalil Mack despite the ankle injury has been killing it. I really feel like he could end up being one of those balance of power players like Charles Haley was in the 90s. The Packers or Lions should have gone for him purely for the fact that they then wouldn’t have to play him 10 times over the next 5 seasons ?

If I wanted to be ridiculed by everyone here I’d say he was just about MVP before week 6.

100%

Would love it to happen one day though.

One way traffic in Arizona so far this morning. Sounds like the Broncos have more fans than the home team.
