Honestly forget Hale now and Trade week, our main option right now is to get Scullys contract extend so GWS cant get there hands on him and that would nearly make our whole side off limits to GWS!!!

Panic! EVERYBODY PANIC!!!

Extend him til 2018 - NOW!

I'm already factoring him and probably one other going to either GC or GWS.

I mean would you want to play with the friends you've made over the last couple of years, at the MCG, with a side that is quite possibly the next dominant force in AFL.

Personally I'd be heading off to one of two Shitsville's to play in front of 15,000 rugby fans.

Get a f***ing grip or go post on big footy

For anyone who feels, as I do, see my sig and feel free to do the same.

Sounds good. I haven't had an irrational panic about the club in weeks. I think I need one to get it out of my system.

And let the North Darwin Baboons poach him in 2018? I don't think so.

Minimum 2024 contract extension or I suggest heads should roll!

Well said however it would be good to stitch him away.

I think we can all agree that signing Tom Scully past next year is a good idea.

What I also think is a good idea is to not stare at our collective navels worrying about losing the best 19 year old in the country simply because we are MFC supporters.

I cannot believe the neurosis sometimes, it is stunning, really stunning.

Everybody chill the f#$% out.

Scully's going to play himself into the AA team next year and earn the massive contract that Melbourne are in a position to pay.

We were struggling to spend 92.5% of our cap this year...Scully will be a priority, we'll keep him

He will get a 3-4 year contract nexy year

I can't believe that someone stating a fact like lets sign sign and ensure we lock out GWS makes everyone on here thinks the OP is freaking out...

Gees no one in this thread has freaked out all are stating the obvious

What! and let the Tiwi Island Turtles snap him up? Minimum extension of eternity, or sack the FD

  • REPORT: Carlton

I am now certain that the decline in fortunes of the Melbourne Football Club from a premiership power with the potential for more success to come in the future, started when the team ran out for their Round 9 match up against Carlton last year. After knocking over the Cats in a fierce contest the week before, the Demons looked uninterested at the start of play and gave the Blues a six goal start. They recovered to almost snatch victory but lost narrowly with a score of 11.10.76 to 12.5.77. Yesterday, they revisited the scene and provided their fans with a similar display of ineptitude early in the proceedings. Their attitude at the start was poor, given that the game was so winnable. Unsurprisingly, the resulting score was almost identical to that of last year and for the fourth time in succession, the club has lost a game against Carlton despite having more scoring opportunities.

  • CASEY: Carlton

The Casey Demons smashed the Carlton Reserves off the park at Casey Fields on Sunday to retain a hold on an end of season wild card place. It was a comprehensive 108 point victory in which the home side was dominant and several of its players stood out but, in spite of the positivity of such a display, we need to place an asterisk over the outcome which saw a net 100 point advantage to the combined scores in the two contests between Demons and Blues over the weekend.

  • POSTGAME: Carlton

A near full strength Demons were outplayed all night against a Blues outfit that was under the pump and missing at least 9 or 10 of the best players. Time for some hard decisions to be made across the board.
