Demonland Prediction of the Week

Tigs by 11 points! If I'm wrong i'll be happier!

dees are now debt free and have a sniff of the finals if we continue the form....with a home game this weekend at the MCG i'm predicting a crowd of 60k.

Sylvia 30+ possies

Melbourne win by 19 points

Dustin Martin to deliver his weekly average of 14 "don't argues".

Demons to win by 10+ goals. Davey best on ground, reminding everyone just how awsome he is. Frawley to totally dominate Reiwolt and keep him to only one goal from a dodgy free kick; and Jordie to finally get the rising star after another blinder including another 10 or more tackles...that would be very nice. ;)

Jack ( W ) to kick 3

Jurrah to kick 3

Reiwoldt probably to kick 3

Trengove a mere 30 touches in a bog or near performance.

Melbourne NOT to lose from a kick after the siren.

Dees by 29 points

Jordie McKenzie to play on Martin, and absolutely smash him.

13 tackles, 17 disposals, 5 clearances and a goal in a Rising Star nominated performance.

Unfortunately...Jeff Garlett disagrees. Next week Jordie :(

My prediction - Wona 3 goals

That works well for me too!!!

Sorry but you lose for having so little faith in Chip.

3 to Reiwoldt... pffft! B)

ahemm...cough !!!!!!!

What's that? One from five? If you make enough predictions, you're bound to get one right. Well done, though.

Melbourne by 29.

Green 4 goals.

Trengove 2 goals.

Crowd 45k-50k.

Nice work billy, 3 outta 4

Edit:Sorry 2 outta 4, coulda sworn Green got 4 but obviously not

Moloney to be a late withdrawal, Jones to come in. I have no mail or anything, just a hunch.

Good call.

Decent crowd between 45-48,000 will watch the Dees win by 3-4 goals.

So who ended up with the best prediction/s of the week? I'll take the margin victory as I posted it before Belz! Copy cat!!!

I was thinking the opposite with Green and Trengove, bloody spuds, Green needed to kick 1 more, and don't even get me started on JT, didn't trouble the goal scorer sheet at all. Would have been 4 out of 4 if it wasn't for those 2 blokes.

It’s been a season of grit, growth, and glimpses of brilliance—mixed with a few tough interstate lessons. Now, with finals looming, the Dees head to Kardinia Park for one last tune-up before the real stuff begins.

  • DRAFT: The Next Generation

It was not long after the announcement that Melbourne's former number 1 draft pick Tom Scully was departing the club following 31 games and two relatively unremarkable seasons to join expansion team, the Greater Western Giants, on a six-year contract worth about $6 million, that a parody song based on Adele's hit "Someone Like You" surfaced on social media. The artist expressed lament over Scully's departure in song, culminating in the promise, "Never mind, we'll find someone like you," although I suspect that the undertone of bitterness in this version exceeded that of the original.

  • AFLW REPORT: Brisbane

A steamy Springfield evening set the stage for a blockbuster top-four clash between two AFLW heavyweights. Brisbane, the bookies’ favourites, hosted Melbourne at a heaving Brighton Homes Arena, with 5,022 fans packing in—the biggest crowd for a Melbourne game this season. It was the 11th meeting between these fierce rivals, with the Dees holding a narrow 6–4 edge. But while the Lions brought the chaos and roared loudest, the Demons aren’t done yet.
