With this link you can download the clip straight from youtube.

I hope The President & CEO see this clip & use it for all our new recriuts.

Brilliant Speechless.

I can see the MCG full of red & Blue again after watching that. It will happen.

That was f#cking awesome!!!

My only criticism is that it should've had Brian Wilson kicking the sealer at the Western Oval in 1987 "cover yourself in glory son!". Or at least some footage from that game.

I Have that Game on VHS & love that Quote aswell. Willo had just run the entire length of the ground. He was knackered, But still Kicked it!!!

I really enjoyed his Jurrah and Alan Partridge video... "Sh!t. Did you see that? He must have a foot like a traction engine!"

Top work from mfcnow!!!

Alan Partridge is Pure Genius!! First saw him about 18 years ago. "Knowing Me Knowing You"

OMG... what a great vision to finish off trade week....

Absolutely brilliant.....tears, smiles and time to reminise.....bring on 2010

Hey guys,

Firstly, longtime Demonland reader.

Thanks for all the positive feedback on the video. It all came together pretty quickly. I was thinking about putting together a vid of great MFC moments through the years, and just happened to see the Avett Brothers perform the song on the David Letterman show early last week. I had never heard it before.

Also thanks to everyone who has posted MFC videos and footage on Youtube. I pretty much trawled through everything I could find and took the bits I wanted.

Oh yeah, and I'm glad some of you know who Alan Partridge is.

Also, over the next few weeks I plan on posting some more old Melbourne footage, games, highlights etc.

Funny you should say that Harry, because thats the goal I would have preferred to use but couldnt find any of the game on Youtube at all. But like I said, over the next few weeks, I plan to change that.

They should show that to the boys in the rooms before the first bounce of the season

I thought that was terrific and if it didn't bring a tear to your eye, you're not passionate enough about the Dees.I was hoping to see Jaka's airgoal or when he kicked the goal in front of the member's and kissed his brother Glen,Priceless!!!

Who put this together?

The Partridge mash-up had me in tears of laughter. The World Cup '94 'roundup' that the audio comes from has long been one of my favourite videos, but the Jurrahcane highlights made it even more brilliant. STRIKER! [censored]!

Steve Coogan is one of the greats right up there with Rowan Atkinson.

and Gervais

encaptures everything that it means to be a dees supporter - the shot of trisha broadbridge with the team and jimma's press conference regarding his health really puts into perspective how much this club embodies the trials and tribulations of life! if any club 'deserves' a flag it's the mighty dees..

Welcome mfcnow. And a heartfelt thankyou.

Can't wait for your upcoming editions!

Hey guys,

Firstly, longtime Demonland reader.

Thanks so much for putting this together. Watching the video helped encapsulate for me how much of a contribution the club has made to my life, even just as a supporter. Stirring stuff, well done.

Actually... at the risk of sounding demanding.

I can't find the Brisbane comeback game from last year anywhere. That was a gem I thought.

MFCnow, you champion.

The footage of Neita on Daniher's last game was the breaking point for me.

I love this club!!!

From Twitter:

CamSchwab @Matty_Stevens That is fantastic. It will be on the short list of must do's as we induct choices 1,2,11,18 etc into the MFC.

for those who haven't seen the Liam Jurrah/Alan Partridge clip

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Port Adelaide

The undefeated Demons venture across the continent to the spiritual home of the Port Adelaide Football Club on Saturday afternoon for the inaugural match for premiership points between these long-historied clubs. Alberton Oval will however, be a ground familiar to our players following a practice match there last year. We lost both the game and Liv Purcell, who missed 7 home and away matches after suffering facial fractures in the dying moments of the game.

  • AFLW REPORT: Richmond

A glorious sunny afternoon with a typically strong Casey Fields breeze favouring the city end greeted this round four clash of the undefeated Narrm against the winless Tigers. Pre-match, the teams entered the ground through the Deearmy’s inclusive banner—"Narrm Football Weaving Communities Together and then Warumungu/Yawuru woman and Fox Boundary Rider, Megan Waters, gave the official acknowledgement of country. Any concerns that Collingwood’s strategy of last week to discombobulate the Dees would be replicated by Ryan Ferguson and his Tigers evaporated in the second quarter when Richmond failed to use the wind advantage and Narrm scored three unanswered goals.

  • CASEY: Frankston

The late-season run of Casey wins was broken in their first semifinal against Frankston in a heartbreaking end at Kinetic Stadium on Saturday night that in many respects reflected their entire season. When they were bad, they committed all of the football transgressions, including poor disposal, indiscipline, an inability to exert pressure, and some terrible decision-making, as exemplified by the period in the game when they conceded nine unanswered goals from early in the second quarter until halfway through the third term. You rarely win when you do this.

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Richmond

Round four kicks off early Saturday afternoon at Casey Fields, as the mighty Narrm host the winless Richmond Tigers in the second week of Indigenous Round celebrations. With ideal footy conditions forecast—20 degrees, overcast skies, and a gentle breeze — expect a fast-paced contest. Narrm enters with momentum and a dangerous forward line, while Richmond is still searching for its first win. With key injuries on both sides and pride on the line, this clash promises plenty.

  • AFLW REPORT: Collingwood

Expectations of a comfortable win for Narrm at Victoria Park quickly evaporated as the match turned into a tense nail-biter. After a confident start by the Demons, the Pies piled on pressure and forced red and blue supporters to hold their collective breath until after the final siren. In a frenetic, physical contest, it was Captain Kate’s clutch last quarter goal and a missed shot from Collingwood’s Grace Campbell after the siren which sealed a thrilling 4-point win. Finally, Narrm supporters could breathe easy.
