GREAT NEWS-HOWEVER HE MENTIONED WE NOW CAN ALL RE SIGN OUR MEMBERSHIPS

Edited by jayceebee31

GREAT NEWS-

ESSENTIAL for MFC especially in view of Brock's departure and his key role with the younger indigenous players with Wheels departing. Well done to MFC and for Flash in sticking with the Dees. Very important that this is appreciated and built upon.

Thanks Flash from our family in particular (Matt, Evan and Anthony)

GO DEES :wub::rolleyes:

Great news. I was getting worried with all the newspaper reports today. Especially when his mum came out and said I'd love to see both of them at Essendon. I didn't think he'd leave especially with all the work he has put into Jurrah settling in at the club and helping Wonna as well. I would have been devastated if he left.

Cameron Schwab must have had achuckle at the reports today. So today the Aus and Herla Sun are reporting Aaron may leave and tomorrow they will be reporting he has signed. Yeah!!

Some red faces and blue behinds for the jouno's.

How's our mate with the inside word?

How's our mate with the inside word?

Do you mean dafatcat?

Or some other erroneous feline?

As someone close to Liam Jurrah, I am overjoyed to hear of Flash's 4 yr signing. Let the good times roll!

Two Words: Fuckin' A.

I would have been devo if my favourite player (Chook), who I named myself after, and then the Flash, who I think should be captain and (again) named myself after, left in the space of a couple of days. I'm pumped! Go Dees.

that's not true, I've signed on for 2010 and Jimmy said thanks for resigning, check your facts....

Don't need to check any facts, I re-signed as soon as I got the 'Barry Prendergast' email. I got an email about Flash re-signing but not the text message.

Mate you've been nothing but forth coming since taking the LJ train onboard so question for you:

Would Flash moving on have been an issue for LJ at all a) staying at the club abd B) staying in Melbourne (if Flash had of moved interstate, not saying he was looking too)?

I know you have mentioned a number of times LJ loves being at the Dees and is very confident in himself and his ability but just interested in how he was seeing it.

Cards

I also got the txt and know several others. Club obviously intended people to get it...

  • AFLW REPORT: Port Adelaide

Well, that was a shock. The Demons 4-game unbeaten run came to a grinding halt in a tense, scrappy affair at the sunny, windy Alberton Oval, with the Power holding on for a 2-point win. The Dees had their chances—plenty of them—but couldn't convert when it mattered most. Port’s tackling pressure rattled the Dees, triggering a fumble frenzy and surprising lack of composure from seasoned players.

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Port Adelaide

The undefeated Demons venture across the continent to the spiritual home of the Port Adelaide Football Club on Saturday afternoon for the inaugural match for premiership points between these long-historied clubs. Alberton Oval will however, be a ground familiar to our players following a practice match there last year. We lost both the game and Liv Purcell, who missed 7 home and away matches after suffering facial fractures in the dying moments of the game.

  • AFLW REPORT: Richmond

A glorious sunny afternoon with a typically strong Casey Fields breeze favouring the city end greeted this round four clash of the undefeated Narrm against the winless Tigers. Pre-match, the teams entered the ground through the Deearmy’s inclusive banner—"Narrm Football Weaving Communities Together and then Warumungu/Yawuru woman and Fox Boundary Rider, Megan Waters, gave the official acknowledgement of country. Any concerns that Collingwood’s strategy of last week to discombobulate the Dees would be replicated by Ryan Ferguson and his Tigers evaporated in the second quarter when Richmond failed to use the wind advantage and Narrm scored three unanswered goals.

  • CASEY: Frankston

The late-season run of Casey wins was broken in their first semifinal against Frankston in a heartbreaking end at Kinetic Stadium on Saturday night that in many respects reflected their entire season. When they were bad, they committed all of the football transgressions, including poor disposal, indiscipline, an inability to exert pressure, and some terrible decision-making, as exemplified by the period in the game when they conceded nine unanswered goals from early in the second quarter until halfway through the third term. You rarely win when you do this.

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Richmond

Round four kicks off early Saturday afternoon at Casey Fields, as the mighty Narrm host the winless Richmond Tigers in the second week of Indigenous Round celebrations. With ideal footy conditions forecast—20 degrees, overcast skies, and a gentle breeze — expect a fast-paced contest. Narrm enters with momentum and a dangerous forward line, while Richmond is still searching for its first win. With key injuries on both sides and pride on the line, this clash promises plenty.
