Man, I'd prefer an inteligent poster not call someone a joke for posting their opinion.

Ok. I'll take it back 45h. ;)

He's got rocks in his head.

Is that better?

Mate for some reason i didnt notice bruce do any thing special an he just didnt come to mind at the time.

Also robbo being one of my all time favorite players i obviuosly would of noticed what he did more than what others would have.

Personally i thought it was one of Jones poorer games but you still managed to stick him in.

Each to their own. I wasn't the only one who put Jones in. There were a few others. You were the only one who put Robbo in and you were the only one who missed watching Bruce and missed putting him in the votes. I find it somewhat mind boggling how on earth you could miss Bruce. He was up & down the field all night. Despite the sides very poor showing.

Anyway. I'd rather look forward to West Coast now. At the time on Saturday night, I'd had a few. Looks like I took out my frustration then. No hard feelings.

Nah your right mate, i was extremely frustrated that night as well and i didnt take much time on my votes, but inlike others or everyone lol i did think robbo did ok from what opportuntiys he had. Any ways i think against westcoast things will be alot different considering i recon we'll acually win.

Not sure if this has been suggested previously, but to me the 'weighted' voting system only adds to the 'soft' tag that has been attached to the MFC for far too long. Why? Because we are more heavily rewarding the players that play well in a winning team, ie the downhill skiers.

Although it won't make much of a difference in a season with 1 win on the board, it would be interesting to compare the numbers above based on an un-weighted system, and an inverse system where the weighting factor is the opposition's percentage from the game...

It means Colin Sylvia was punished for his 37 possession, 4 goal effort against Hawthorn.

If that didn't deserve full votes, then nothing ever will.

I guess this proves the system has flaws. Sylvia should definitely be above those 3. McLean shouldn't be anywhere near the top 4.

And welcome back YM...

UP IN LIGHTS by Whispering Jack

Those who watched the 2024 Marsh AFL National Championships closely this year would not be particularly surprised that Melbourne selected Victoria Country pair Harvey Langford and Xavier Lindsay on the first night of the AFL National Draft. The two left-footed midfielders are as different as chalk and cheese but they had similar impacts in their Coates Talent League teams and in the National Championships in 2024. Their interstate side was edged out at the very end of the tournament for tea
