I dont belive we need him because we have a fair few midfilders and some players that our developing through our midfield ( Buckley Valenti Jones Petterd Mclean Moloney Morton Grimes)

Also im not prepared to give away much for him.

Also what pic di the dogs take him at?

No. 4 in 2003 ND. (We got McLean at pick 5.)

yeha and sylvia at number 3...

I'm not really interested in Ray unless he came through the PSD, but the Dogs won't let that happen. However, I well remember some posters on here a few years ago carrying on about wanting to keep Ferguson and not wanting Brad Sewell in exchange.

Many overrate our mediocre footballers yet are quick to call other club's players duds.

What are you talking about? Ferguson was one pre-season in the gym away from being a star

Haha.

Rumoured deal on Demonology.

Fisher and 2nd Round pick to the Bulldogs

Ray and 2nd Round pick to the Dockers

Warnock to Carlton

ha! let them do it. Won't do much for any of those teams. They'll only be treading water.

Ray reminds me of Heffernen

Wont happen, but it makes ALOT of sense, so u never no, i'll check it out..

He's quick and we are a slow team so I would be interested but I would prefer us going for Thompson or Prismall in the PSD and go for pace later in the draft (we must go for talls early IMO) I'd don't want us trading at all.

Please no more soft overrated players

  • CASEY: Richmond

The match up of teams competing in our great Aussie game at its second highest level is a rarity for a work day Thursday morning but the blustery conditions that met the players at a windswept Casey Fields was something far more commonplace. They turned the opening stanza between the Casey Demons and a somewhat depleted Richmond VFL into a mess of fumbling unforced errors, spilt marks and wasted opportunities for both sides but they did set up a significant win for the home team which is exactly what transpired on this Anzac Day round opener. Casey opened up strong against the breeze with the first goal to Aidan Johnson, the Tigers quickly responded and the game degenerated into a defensive slog and the teams were level when the first siren sounded.

After five consecutive defeats, the Demons have now notched up back-to-back victories, comfortably accounting for the Tigers in the traditional ANZAC Eve clash. They surged to a commanding 44-point lead early in the final quarter before easing off the pedal, resting skipper Max Gawn and conceding the last four goals of the game to close out a solid 20-point win.
