Trade Pick 1 for 3 with Fremantle for Warnock

Recommended Posts

This may be the stupidest idea i've yet come up with so feel free to shoot it down but........ Is it possible to deal with Carlton? I mean we take Warnock with pick 1 (and maybe a player) for pick three, then just trade him to Carlton for whetever they're offerng? First or second round pick? We're no worse off, but with a stronger draft position, Warnock gets what he wants and Freo get their Natanui. They could just be stupid enough to do it...

I like it, + throw in Brad Green and take Carlton's pick 6 or whatever it is!

Would Carlton trade pick 6 for Brad Green and Warnock?

We would have

3 6 17 19

We should apply to be on the trade table!

Correct.

Our draft doesn't work like the NBA. You can't on-trade players once they're drafted.

I think he means :

R. Warnock & Pick 3 - traded to us in exchange for Pick1 & maybe a player.

THEN we trade R. Warnock & Brad Green (?) to Carlton for Pick 6 & pocekt change

Is that right? You'll fail business if you keep writing up your proposals in such a sloppy & confusing fashion.

I think Carlton would go for it, but Freo probably wouldn't. But it actually does look like it could satisfy all 3 teams. Not one of them would actually propose it though.

Won't happen.

But you don't have to?

3 way trade

Warnock to Carlton

Green to Carlton

Pick 1 to Fremantle

Pick 3 to Melbourne

Pick 6 to Melbourne

Fremantle can have Carroll also!

In simple terms that means we give up pick 1 and Green for Picks 3 & 6.

Carlton gets Warnock and Green for 6.

HighTower- Proof- A picture of Naita killing Warnock and jumping all over him this year in the WAFL

Sometimes a picture tells a thousand words....I don't suppose you have their stats from this game by any chance, to show the real proof??

;)

Carlton gets Warnock and Green for 6.

Thanks for clearing that up.

Can't see it happening. Too much of a win for Melbourne.

Fremantle get stuff all, and Carlton give up pick 6 in a bumper draft in exchange for Green, which includes further burden on their salary cap.

Freo are better off accepting Carlton's 2nd pick in exchange for Warnock, and getting either Rich or Naita with pick 3.

What is this Carlton Salary Cap?

I propose that the league issue the 17th license to VISY so that they can at least operate to some form of salary cap

CLEAN HANDS by KC from Casey

The Casey Demons headed into town and up Sydney Road to take on the lowly Coburg Lions who have been perennial VFL easy beats and sitting on one win for the season. Last year, Casey beat them in a practice match when resting their AFL listed players. That’s how bad they were. Nobody respected them on Saturday and clearly not the Demons who came to the game with 22 players (ten MFC), but whether they came out to play is another matter because for the most part, their intensity was lacking an

    ALAS SPRINGS by Whispering Jack

I got the word on Saturday from someone who knows someone inside the Fremantle camp that the Dockers were pumped and supremely confident about getting the W the next day against Melbourne at TIO Traeger Park in the red heart of the country. I was informed that the Dockers were extremely confident for a number of reasons. They had beaten the Demons on their home territory at the MCG at their last two meetings so they didn’t see beating them at Alice Springs as a problem. They belie

    TROUBLE by The Oracle

Situated roughly in Australia's geographic centre, Alice Springs has for many years been a troubled town suffering from intermittent crime waves, particularly among its younger residents. There was a time a little while ago when things were so bad that some even doubted the annual AFL game in the town would proceed.  Now, the hope is that this Sunday’s Melbourne vs Fremantle encounter will bring joy to the residents of the town and that through the sport and the example of the participants,
