Yes I agree BBO I expect this is how it does take place for the aspirational classes who are apt to get ahead of themselve at times. Of course I leave these things to my best man who deals with the Bentley chap whenever there is a model upgrade. I personally prefer to not have lunches with these types but I understand your situation is different, what with being stuck up in the back blocks of Romsey.

Footscray v Casey Scorpions - Round 2, 2015
Earl Hood replied to KC from Casey's topic in Melbourne Demons
Godees your description of the Toump is worrying. He is getting a lot of it but turning it over at VFL level where he has more time and space than he will ever get at AFL level. Not sure more time at Casey will resolve this deficiency. I don't get a top draft pick having this particular problem. I can remember watching Blease in some Casey games consistently getting the ball off half back with plenty of space and putting it lace out to the opposition player's chest who was chasing one of our forwards. Could not work that out either. -
Yes rjay I believe the Dorks have had more first round priority picks than ourselves. Back then reward for failure was expected, now its an abomination. However if the Queensland teams continue to struggle I get the feeling the AFL will find a way to help out.

Gilles do you have one of those hipster bikes? You know plenty of chrome, no gears, no bracks, no gears, no accessories just minimalism two wheels and a frame.
-
But he wrote of his utter dispare watching at the MCG as Jimmy Stynes inadvertently ran through the mark in 1987 in the prelim final against Hawthorn at Waverley! OK not exactly sure how he did that but we are talking about the Human Headline.

Footscray v Casey Scorpions - Round 2, 2015

If that is true isn't time for him to hang up the boots. Too many hits to the head for his own good. He has a life to live after footy. -
Giles. Looking at your avatar I am sure I have seen you working as a hipster, barista in a cafe down in Abbotsford. Is that why you were riding passed the Gee? Amazing how hairstyles and facial hair from the 80's has reappeared.
-
Let us not under play this Clarko incident with a local drunk. Channel 7 in their six oclock news ran this incident up front before the Nepal earthquake that cost thousands of lives and OZ casualties. We certainly understand our priorities now.
-
The Doggies have seemingly rebuilt in what three or four years? A bit of help from father son but some good old fashioned first round draft picking without playing games plus off loading some experience players voluntarily and otherwise. And throw on losing a captain, coach, football manager preseason!! Little short of amazing so far this season.
-
Scary stuff. The Dorks nearly snatch it from 58 points down! Against a top 4 side! If Port had not had that first quarter blinder they may have been smashed. Don't think Clarko will be too worried by that loss away from home. And cut out the sewerage jokes Sir WYL!
-
And Robbie Grey. Imagine if those two were playing?
-
Of course I am expecting the Dorks to pull something out of their ar se to snatch a win somehow. If it is possible from 50 points down they will find a way. Oh please let Port dob the first two this quarter.
-
Go Port. Loving this secretly as All the in laws are Hawks. They are dumbstruck. Hee Hee. Oh yes if this continues, how long before a Hawk goes the biff?
-
Have we established whether that was BBO on the tele last night with his shirt off, and plenty of flesh, after we kicked the winning goal?
-
If we ever get a midfield that consistently gives us 14 more inside 50's week in week out, well look out opposition!
-
Rising star nomination chance maybe? Nah probably go to a young mid who piles up 20 odd possessions in a big win.
-
Jackovich plus?
-
To win this we need The Prince, Watts, Howe and Tyson. Big quarter needed.
-
With an ounce of luck we would be 6 goals up. I am counting posters and umpires in that.
-
Rance, is that 0 and 3 contests?
-
Got to be a record for a team, what 4 posters to half time? A cm one way and we are 10 goals 1 for Fs sake.
-
Red not sure what the weather has to do with the likes of BBO or The Biff coming into inner Melbourne for this game. It won't matter if its raining if they decide to trash some place they might deem to have Tiger sympathies.
-
I suspect the outcome would be the same. Don't believe thy had what it takes, but yes their deficiencies could be overcome in good sides for a time.
-
Yes good point CHF he did play the development league and hopefully Hunt can gear up this week. Any idea how ANB went?
-
In that specific contest what did he have to protect. My memory of it was that he had the drop on two defenders in front of him with the ball coming in high. I would have jumped in knees first hoping for a mark but only likely to spill the ball, no threat to my health. Watts has done something different and stayed upright at the back for the handball to the running player going passed. Maybe I need to review the tape again.
