It's a lesser known Royal Childrens' Hospital fundraiser under the guise 'Mullets for the Kids.' Lynden Dunne and the other advocate/patron Bailey Smith from the Western Bulldogs, get sponsored for growing mullets. I think Smith was supposed to shave his off late last year (he'd probably raise much more money to get rid of it) but perhaps he's too attached. Check out the website/FB page for some seriously unfortunate do's.

Ingo was not obscure. Dead set gun! As a replacement, I nominate Paul Payne.

Made peoples eyes water!

Basil Onyons Who could forget that name? I think he played around the 1900s. Cant get much more obscure than that. I corrected the spelling too

Whopper Walsh (Peter)

They played like they wanted to fly out before the borders close

Slick work - thanks!

Can someone with half a clue put this on Lever's head. He looks naked without it.

Really? I could not work out how/why 'Jeelong' was derogatory or funny. Now I get it.

This post needs to be pinned and stuck in the 'Here's what MFCSS looks like' section

Richmond - I grew up close family friends with Toigs faithful. It was excruciating going to games with them when we were so ordinary. They were relentless in their arrogance and Kevin Bartlett was running around like a class A tool with a comb-over. I loved it when he held a grudge against them for oh so long. Collingwood - It goes without saying, but I enjoy listening to Buckley. Eddie can GAGF Norf - I cant put my finger in it but I have always hated them. I couldn't stand Keith Grieg for some reason. Their supporters are tossers. Carlton - they've dropped off the hate radar a bit but who doesn't love them languishing at the bottom of the ladder - may it continue. A big hello to John Elliot too. Cheats! Geelong - I don't mind them too much but I now live half an hour away and it's torture going to the games and getting trounced. The whole one team town is dead boring too. 'Who do you barrack for?' 'Oh let me guess - Geelong?' Essendon - I can only reiterate the superb summation of @Little Goffy - 'they take so much and add so little'. Their supporters top the [censored] charts too! I hope they never recover. Gold Coast - OK I don't hate them as such, but the perks they're getting make me gag. The only reason they're still there and costing the earth is so the AFL don't have to admit it's a capital F FAIL! Do the comp a favour and send them down to Tassie. It would save millions too! Hawthorn - Some f-wit signed my dog up as a Hawthorn supporter. Made me hate them and their Wayne Kerr supporters more. That's about it, the rest range from on the nose to insignificant.

Yes, but I'm not really surprised. The Weed's been mostly in the ruck with Gawn out and Jackson has been finding his feet. Petracca didn't spend much time there on Friday either. Unsettled forward line and Wiedemann not clunking them. I'm relieved that Gawn's back but he forward line might take a few weeks to get it together. -
WELCOME TO DEMONLAND - ADAM TOMLINSON
Roger Mellie replied to dazzledavey36's topic in Melbourne Demons
That's interesting! There's an article on the AFL website about 196 cm Jarrod Brander for WCE saying he's been preparing to play on the wing this year. They say his role is exactly that - to play on the non-active wing. Should be a good match-up with Tomlinson (height-wise if nothing else) although Brander may find it way more active than he'd bargained for. Tomlinson had a great game. One query though. Is Tomlinson wearing last year's mouthguard which might possibly be in GWS colours? If so, could a player, friend or any member of the MFC staff please rip it out of his gob and stick it down the bog - thanks! -
I hope Bedford overtakes ANB as I cringe when he goes near the ball and fumbles, gets in the way or turns it over. Admittedly, ANB was quite good in patches last night. I know he offers plenty of run and is a coach's favourite, but the sooner Bedford can overtake him the better IMO - he's faster, a better tackler and hopefully won't be as fumbly with the loose/disputed ball. Bedford should also be able to cover as much ground with his tank.

Yes, banner looks great. Would look better without May. Get rid of him. He can go back on next year, after he's done something. Glad I could help!
-
In that highlights reel he has space all around him or is able to run into space. He doesn't have that luxury anymore.

You lasted that long? I couldn't make it to half time.

No Joel Smith

Bet you it's Reefer

It should read: Steven May Knee WTF

Agree, I thought Hanks had a ripper game> Ran all night from contest to contest with second and third efforts. Deserved to be in the best. A real goer.

A dearth of on-field leadership last year would incline me to think they'll increase the group this year. I don't think Viney will be demoted either. Gawn / Viney C-C Jetta, TMac, Lever & Harmes I think 'Nut' is a genuine chance and Jones will be a leader officially or unofficially. May could be leadership material but he's got to get some runs on the board first.

Tomlinson will have been in full training for 4-5 weeks by the kick-off. I think he'll at least get half a game. Who plays ruck could be anyone's guess - they could give Jackson, Brown, T-Mac and Tomlinson a quarter each or some combination. I think Bradtke is still a bit slight, but who knows.

Don't really see the Lions at 10th either
