At least Tom McDonald has it right which gives me some hope for the future , six wins is not successful, no matter how delusional Rawlings is.

Hilarious coming off a 100 point loss against some second rate Bulldog kids....all going well,

It's a joke to call one of them best and fairest, give them what they have given the supporters, nothing.

A lot of work to do, carrying extra weight is not going to help.

Yeh great bloke, sold off to Richmond.

His match payment is 18k, a grand less would help alleviate the tax bill.

Five feet two with a bad leg, recruiting as normal.

Giving the raspberry to Goode's is inadvertent, you see, your average piece of bogan trash prefer their black men subservient, now here we have an uppity guy, who is smarter, bigger, drives a better car, lives in a bigger house, is a leader, a man that doesn't know his place, he isn't no "Uncle Tom". The Hird mentality plays a apart, here is someone who is more successful in every way, so the average loser feels he must be brought down a peg.

Bulldogs pushing for top 4! Where do we stand?
bluey replied to Earl Hood's topic in Melbourne Demons
The Dogs went for youth, a young coach a young squad that may relate to each other on a number of personal and professional levels.. Melbourne on the other hand went for an old coach and picked up the Dogs ex coach who was deemed unsuccessful to be nice\who could not relate to the young Dog squad.. The MFC have recruited old men and flakey not requireds passed overs by their own clubs who have not gelled, you add that to the appalling recruiting, the only thing they have in common are their large stipends. Cross, Labumba, Vince, Dawes, Garlett, Michie, Tyson, Frost, Pedersen, Newton, Terlich, Riley That's more than a quarter of the list, instead of developing players to play a style, they have recruited a hotch potch of makeshift patch ups who have brought a dozen different flaws accumulating in loss after loss, they do not play as a team or for each other, just enough to get paid and hang off the back of the worst list in the proud history off the AFL -
From the bit I saw Hogan was much worse than Dawes, petulant, abusing team mates, and when he had it could generally not kick the ball over a jam tin, I guess people believe what they want to believe, 7 disposals is not a bag, and is miserly compared to Dawes 17 touches, would not be surprised if his lack of effort he found himself at Casey, needs to pull his big head in.

Quitting in advance takes the cake, really sends a message of commitment. MFC sends me an email saying why don't I come along tomorrow, nah sorry, been planning on walking the dog for four weeks.
-
Yes,Hogan has been in the system 3 years and can't even kick the ball 45 metres, massive flaw in his game, a few stutters, a sideways glance at the ball, it floats in the general direction but has no force, you would have thought some genius on the coaching staff may have noticed that Hogan can not even carry out the most basic rudimentary action of a forward, being able to carry the ball via foot from the 50 metre line.
-
After coaching this club his future coaching prospects will be zero.

We have won 13 games out of our last 100 contests, and are not likely to win a game in the near future. The AFL has bailed us out financially, recruited a President, Board, CEO and a Coach. As a scapegoat who understood the situation once said, "It is what it is".

The opposition are generally the team wearing the Guernsey's with the ball in hand..

Collingwood are ordinary, Roos completes another week off his sentence.

One common denominator with a mid year coach sacking is that everybody in the boat is not rowing in the same direction, the act of treachery is self defeating, three coaches in 12 months, Malthoose, the interim guy and the new guy, as we know is not a great formulae for success.

What a shambles, it's a skill to lead into a contest with your hips, not your head.
-
Hope it's just not another false dawn, but a win is a win.

40 point loss would be a fair whack, youth will generally conquer, the Dees were out on their feet at 3 quarter time at Ballarat and have gone down hill since.

I believe we presently have about 16 listed players worth moving forward with beyond 2018, and that’s being generous. Hogan Viney Kent Jones Salem Watts Toumpas Brayshaw Tyson Frost T.McDonald Jetta Neal Bullen Garlett Petracca Stretch Maybe? Toumpas King Harmes
