MCG Advertisement - where the bloody hell are we?
bluey replied to Leoncelli_36's topic in Melbourne Demons
I don't wish the MFC to be like Donald Trump, rather lose quietly with dignity, nobody remembers or cares for those who return at the back of the pack. . -
Stubbed his toe, out for a couple of weeks, and missed a year, must be more to it..

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - CLAYTON OLIVER
bluey replied to Freddy Fuschia's topic in Melbourne Demons
he’s got the ability to mark the ball & go forward and have an impact ! Colin Sylvia. -
What a joke, the recruitment of a ready made midfield in Michie, Riley and Newton set the club back a million dollars per annum, if professional clubs with educated resources and expert recruiting and coaching staff drop players, the MFC always think they know better, and are generally if not always proved wrong.

If we added Daw, we would have two Dawes.
-
Tommy DoeDee, could be anything, plenty of upside, should be a late pick.
-
In summary they have managed to trade Howe and in return gain a VFL standard dwarf,....seems about business as normal, screwed again.
-
None of my business, but the next career progression from working on "Home and Away" is driving a cab.
-
Neeld took over a club that had virtually no AFL standard players, a hapless board that offered no support and whom all resigned one way or the other, a poor administration and senior football department officials, and an ever dwindling support base.
-
Jump Lamumba, that's not aiming very high.
-
You could sit the MFC list in front of a white board 12 hours a day and it would make no difference.
-
Dean was also in hospital having post season op, give it a break.
-
Tony Abbott would have a greater chance of being appointed.
-
Todd Viney obviously.

Think Brayshaw will win.
-
A little birdy said Jack offered up his spot the other day after Cross was sacked, gifting him one last game.
-
I can't wait for the Chris Dawes annual February pre season speech.
-
May as well continue signing old duds from other clubs.
-
Well done Cross, pulled out another two years, now what, recruit another old bloke or go for youth.?
-
A good point about supporting this club, it would be very difficult to become worse than they already are.
-
Not much to look forward too, couldn't even be competitive against Carlton rather than Freo.

The man is deceased, ....dead, but go right ahead.

At least Paul was our President elect, not some bloke I have never heard of propped up by the AFL, nothing wrong with being losers either, as long as you give it a shot, Roos and the players are just not up to the task.

Nothing happened today that changed my outlook, most of the players have little ability, instead of developing players and doing the hard yards they rope in castaways like Cross, Labumba, Vince, Doors, Garlett, Newton, Michie and managed to eke out 6 wins instead of zero. They also attempt to play a running hanballing style that they are completely unsuited too particularly given the fact that most of them cant' handball, run quickly, or even kick and mark. As for fitness most of the squad appear bottom heavy and treacle slow. All else is mediocre.
