List needs
Obviously money may/would be a sticking point.

List needs
I know we love to hate/bag opposition players but when DeGoey is on he’s a very good player. If Weid wanted out I’d be more than happy for that to transpire.

An idea for a new product
They may have been, I just assumed they were pins. I’ll have a look and see if I can find it.

NON MFC: Rd 10 2021
I think we can easily account for the lions, would love to have our fwd line settled by then. As for Richmond, no one can deny they’ve been a great team, but between all the whinging and seeing the vision of the off the ball incidents against GWS they can get stuffed. They also seem to forget that other clubs have injuries too.

An idea for a new product
On a Demon FB page someone had a picture of a pin set with 6-7 pins with our different logos from over the years, has anyone else seen this and or know where to get it? Thanks

Any new products / merchandise should have a range of Demon logos to choose from.

The Significance of 9 Wins in a Row
Earlier in the year someone started a thread “How many wins for finals?”, basically they went on to say they if we beat all the weaker sides and pinch the odd game or two against a top 4-6 side we can scrape in. I commented that what’s the point of making finals on the back of an effort like that, if we can’t beat them during the home and away season how do we expect to in the finals. Did you watch the games against Carlton, North and the Hawks? We weren’t playing anywhere near our best in those games but did enough to win. In years gone by they were the games we would of dropped, just because we didn’t doesn’t mean we’ve peaked. In some cases it means that us playing at 60 - 70% is still good enough to beat a lot of sides. (Another topic for another day is there isn’t enough talent for 18 clubs so going to 20 is just ridiculous). I’m also using history as guide, history tells us that teams that have great defensive units usually do well in September. Also that teams that have a core group of players coming through together in the 23 - 27 year age bracket. Add in a bit of luck with injuries and a bit of magic with Kozi Pickett and away we go. Obviously none of this guarantees us a flag but we’re heading in the right direction. We can make our own history, I said a few weeks ago I think we can go 13 & 0 into the break and I still believe that.

Reward the Ball Winner or Tackler
Apparently it’s not, but I’m sure it’s been paid.

Reward the Ball Winner or Tackler
Stupid suggestion by Hardwick. The incorrect disposal rules needs to be enforced properly. What happened to be swung in a tackle 360 degrees without disposing of the ball?

The Significance of 9 Wins in a Row
So if we’d dropped a game we wouldn’t of peaked? What indicators are you using as peaked? As for running out of puff, I don’t agree, all teams play 22 games. If this form continues, based on other results we may have the luxury of resting players later in the year.

The Significance of 9 Wins in a Row
In 2008 Geelong won 21 from 22 home and away games, but went on to lose the flag to Hawthorn. As we know the won it in 07, 09, 11.

The Significance of 9 Wins in a Row
What makes you say that? Have the dogs also peaked too early? I don’t think we’ve peaked yet, our fwd line isn’t settled yet, we’re playing well at the moment but as we’ve shown against Geelong and Richmond we can go to another level when required. Didn’t Geelong lose only one game in 2007? I can’t remember, I’ll have to check that.

NON MFC: Rd 09 2021
Not much different from our game against North after we played the tigers. Understandably flat but did enough to get the 4 points.

NON MFC: Rd 09 2021
Cats Swans Hawks Lions Tigers Port Bombers Dees Eagles Im taking Tigers v Giants and Bombers v Freo each way in my multis. Was thinking this could be Norths chance to get a win but looking at the teams for that game I’m not so sure.

As much as I hate Hawkins some of the goals he kicked last night from deep in the pockets were pretty good.

Last week Melbourne’s rise to the top of the ladder just happened to coincide with my rise to top of the work footy tipping comp. (equal 1st with 4 other people).

Christian Petracca is A Demon For Life
Lever and Gawn recently extended their previous contracts. Didn’t Gawn go on record as saying he took less to allow other contracts like the Oliver, Salem and Petracca one’s to happen. With regards to a big free agent, what position needs feeling? We have a balanced list with a number of quality players. Players like ANB etc whilst having great seasons, to me wouldn’t get that much more at other clubs and would stay for less for the chance of ultimate glory.

TICKETING: Rd 08 vs Sydney
No I’m not, but from what I’m reading members aren’t sitting where they should be and lots of people are encountering problems when trying to purchase tickets. I’m a Sydney based Redlegs member, I normally get to Melbourne 3-4 times a year for games. I would normally buy guests passes for family and friends. My understanding is that this is not an option at the moment.

TICKETING: Rd 08 vs Sydney
Bloody hope not, still don’t understand the difference between 85% and 100%.

POSTGAME: Rd 07 vs North Melbourne
Something I’m big on is coming to play every week. Would of loved to see the response a quarter earlier than what it came, but none the less it came. We continue to learn and continue to grow as a side. Whilst we remain unbeaten and in the top 4 we will be hunted more than what we’ve experienced before. Kozi and Jackson are both future stars, they just seem to be in everything. Love watching both of them play. Gutted for Tomlinson, was having a great season, he will be missed.
