Low Attendance
This year marks my 18th consecutive as a Redleg and my fiancé 1st. I hail from Melbourne where I would attend every home game but have lived in Sydney for the last ten years. Since the move I have flown down for 3-4 games each year and attended our Sydney games (which are seldom, yet to do the Canberra trip). Obviously the last two years has wreaked havoc, got to the QB game last year only to witness the uncharacteristic loss to the Pies. We flew down this year for rd 3 Friday night v the Bombers for what I considered to be an ordinary game and crowd. I’m getting married this Saturday then we’re jetting off for ten nights. Upon our return we’re booking flights to come back down, currently looking at rd 12 v the Swans, rd 15 v the Lions and either rd 21/22 Pies or Blues (I’d love to play Carlton next week and put them back in their box). I agree with some of the other posters, we have turned up game after game, year after year only to watch our team get flogged from pillar to post. We are in the midst of greatness, we should be turning up in the masses for not only are we a real chance for our own dynasty, this may never happen again in our lifetime. Edit : How good is Kayo for when we can’t be there.

NON-MFC: Round 5, 2022
I’m waiting for the day when a coach walks, all the crap about their too proud…. You’ve been at a club for ten seasons and this is all you have to show. Leon Cameron in the same boat, 9 seasons with all of the talent at his disposal.

POSTGAME: Rd 05 vs GWS

CHANGES: Rd 06 vs Richmond
I don’t recall him ever losing it based on his form. His three finals last year speak volumes (and the rest of his career). His inclusion immediately makes us a better side. If either of Tmac’s or Weid’s performance tonight was good enough to keep Brown out I must be watching a different game. Brown will come back in just as Petty did this week.

Cannot be serious.

Great point and it bodes well for us.

POSTGAME: Rd 05 vs GWS
Yet to beat a top 8 side. Yet to play one….

GAMEDAY: Rd 05 vs GWS

GAMEDAY: Rd 05 vs GWS
Prelim flashbacks anyone.

GAMEDAY: Rd 05 vs GWS
Gawn is god.

GAMEDAY: Rd 05 vs GWS
And just like that the Giants could not longer sustain their pressure. Switch flicked.

GAMEDAY: Rd 05 vs GWS
2 good marks in quick succession to the Weid.

GAMEDAY: Rd 05 vs GWS
Awesome kick JJ

GAMEDAY: Rd 05 vs GWS
They have but I think we’ve handled it well, only difference being that’s the Giants best and we’re running at about 75-80%. That Kosi non handball to Fritsch was effectively a two goal turn around.
-
GAMEDAY: Rd 05 vs GWS
He looked at one stage to take a chest mark one handed, not sure if he was being held but that’s how it appeared.
-
GAMEDAY: Rd 05 vs GWS
Weid very quiet or am I not understanding his role.
-
GAMEDAY: Rd 05 vs GWS
Kosi selfish.

GAMEDAY: Rd 05 vs GWS
GWS to me are currently like Port, West Coast and the Dogs, you look at their side on paper and there’s some big names there, but they are playing very poorly at the moment. I didn’t see there rd 1 match against the Swans but against the Tigers and Freo they were ordinary. Yes they can play some good footy in patches but ultimately I think the coach has list the players.

GAMEDAY: Rd 05 vs GWS
Would love our accuracy on goal to improve.

GAMEDAY: Rd 05 vs GWS
Regardless of how many if any TMac and Weid kick tonight BBB is an automatic inclusion next week.

NON-MFC: Round 5, 2022
Please don’t say Brisbane is one of them.

NON-MFC: Round 5, 2022
💯, their most recent test was last week and they failed miserably. Continuing to to beat up on weaker sides but crumble under real pressure, sounds a lot like Port.

Farewell Luke Jackson
Currently cap space would be tight not only this year but for the next 2 at least after that. But when the likes of Gawn, Brown, May, TMac etc finish up will have a lot of cap space free and Luke Jackson will only be 23 years old. Now at that point we will still have a lot of talent at the club but there’s no reason we can’t offer Jackson a very lucrative long term deal.
