It's all been said before. So we want to give him 100 games on the notion he may have a son that plays AFL? Or because we're not going to play finals we want to get as many games into our young players as possible and build continuity amongst the group.

As for match ups I thought that would mainly dictate what our back six looks like, if someone is part of our forward set up I thought we would go with that player and let the opposition worry about it?

Who is he currently better then? No one has ever doubted his commitment on or off the field. He was on the outer last year, only coming in when others were injured. Its clear we are not going to make finals so we need to get games into players who will take us forward. If we're being honest he's had years to prove himself. Lots of threads keep rolling out the "he's a great bloke" line, can someone please explain to me how being a great bloke helps your kicking?

Why is that? Why on Friday night did Boomer stand there and wait for Goldy to bend down and pick the ball up and pass it out to him rather than go in and get it himself. Why didn't Geelong come to play against the Pies last week. How many more times must supporters from all clubs here "we didn't come to play" or "we didn't come switched on" How hard can it be. (Not looking for a direct response from you AF, more so just thinking out loud)

I think a lot of people on here have watched enough footy/been to enough games/been a member of the club for long enough to not buy into the media hype. Yes a few on here (myself included) get carried away at times but that's footy. Today's game was very winnable, maybe it was the players getting carried away and not the supporters this week.
