I would like to see Watts included this week. If he doesn't get a game this week and with Casey only having one regular season game remaining, would Watts be eligible to play finals for Casey? If he does front for Casey again and we make finals that would make it a month out of the side. Can anyone see him selected for an elimination final if he doesn't play this week and we have a full squad to choose from?

Seriously???? We are about to embark on a long awaited finals campaign and you want one of our best ball getters out of the team. Screw the stats, ugly win and I'll take it, plenty of improvement left and at least the impressive part is how we have responded in the last two weeks when challenged. Last week Tyson only had 1 turnover in a big game but not many seemed to notice then. Todays game was the big worry for mine, more so than next week.

When you see someone on crutches due to a foot injury usually you see them with a moccasin or a thong on the sore foot. From the news footage Viney had both feet in shoes/runners which indicates to me it's purely keeping some weight off. Club expects him to play according to the AFL site.

I would be interested to see how he goes against the young Brisbane defenders if chosen this week. The Weed has put up with gorillas every time he's played this year. I'm not quite sure how it works though, does the place work on most votes even if a player in ineligible? If Merrett finishes third with 20 votes and Clarry outright fourth say with 19, would the bookies pay you out the place on a Oliver due to Merretts ineligibility?

I should have been clearer, watching the replay you can hear the ump stating it was a free to Viney. They had to award the 50 even though I doubt very much the Saints player heard the call. Sheer bad luck on their end, but if they didn't pay it I guess we would have players all the time saying they didn't hear calls as excuses.

You could clearly hear the umpire mention multiple times it was Vineys free kick prior to Tyson handing the ball back, honest mistake by the Saints player, obviously didn't hear the ump.

I would have Watts ahead of Kennedy every day of the week. Although getting good numbers, according to Casey reports from Plapp, Kennedy needs to use the ball better and have more influence in games. I can't remember if Kennedy has even been an emergency this year.
