A Day at the Races
Or we could just stick with Weir ?

A Day at the Races
Well done Macca, early wins set up the day. A bit more freedom with the strategy for the rest of the day, for me anyway. Weir has a couple of horses in the next, very tough race to find a standout. Miss Leonidas is an above average mare, i like Egyptian Bullet at odds and In Good Time is unbeaten after 6 starts albeit in weaker grade. Soothing and Grey Shadow...aaargh too hard this one.

A Day at the Races
Strong win in the end by Cliff’s Edge. It’s shaping as a good day for racing. Got off to a good start with Eclair Calling in the 1st, managed to find $8 with ‘Fat Odds’. Prized Icon in the 3rd endured a tough run being stuck out 3 wide the trip and tired expectedly. Weir with a double already.

A Day at the Races
What a finish to the day. Pies get pipped and Mr Hamilton salutes in the last at Morphetville. In front for the day now. Tomorrow should produce some good racing as well.

A Day at the Races
That was a fantastic finish to the race. A bit of PL, decided to jump off Oohood today. Ha Ha, I’m hoping Fritta salutes in the half time GF sprint.

@Macca I hope you were on the first at Wagga, Macca’s Hero saluted at $12.

A Day at the Races
Had a small multi Wadda. Got 3 out of the 4. Trap For Fools ran a peculiar race, couldn’t get to the lead, took a sit behind behind the leaders and was boxed in at one stage but never looked a winning chance finishing well back. Small loss tonight. We go again tomorrow.

A Day at the Races
Even the other jockeys were more interested in seeing Chautauqua jump rather than the trial itself. You could see all of them just turn their heads to look back at the barriers. One of the most exciting racehorses I’ve seen in my time. Such a devastating sprint at the end of races.

A Day at the Races
Ben Dorries from Racenet tweeted he’s 99% certain a deal will be done for Chautauqua to run in ‘ The Everest’ with a successful trial tonight. Let’s hope the horse is awake at 8:20.

Good work @Macca. Both winners have been well rated in front so far tonight. Let’s hope the pattern continues for the next few races.

Best Bet. Morphetville Race 5 Number 1 Heptagon $2.70 Not a strong race and was impressive last start in a field of only 5 runners. Settled last and was very strong to the line. The middle sectionals were slow which gives the win some merit. J Kah to take the ride again.

A Day at the Races
Good luck tonight Macca, I thought it was a strong win by Sunset Watch especially after a break. With you mate, I thoroughly enjoy the Valley on a Friday night during the warmer months.

A Day at the Races
Placed a small wager on Mongolian Wolf each way. Ran on well but 4th doesn’t pay unfortunately. I’ve placed a 4 leg multi at Valley tonight. Race 1- 2 Sunset Watch $2.50 Race 2- 1 I Am A Star $1.75 Race 3- 3 Trap For Fools $2.00 Race 5- 4 Leonardo Da Hinchi $1.85 Odds $16.18 with TAB. Some money has come in for a couple of the above, the multi was showing $23 earlier in the day.
