  1. MCC predicting 37,000, we should be able to nudge 40,000 hopefully. A sea of Red and Blue.
  2. Sorry to go off topic, not sure if it’s a topic anyway.....I was ‘browsing’ the same as you jnr last night and came across the OP of their Game Day thread. A backfire of ‘ Epic’ proportions. https://www.bigfooty.com/forum/threads/round-22-v-melbourne-arrogant-ur-glad-were-so-awesome-no.1201893/ Must Watch....great compilation of Gifs (credit to the poster for all the trouble they went through at least) and look out for the ones involving us against the Cats this year.
  3. Has to be the case. If anyone is stiff to miss the Milkshake definately is. How does Waite get in ahead of him?

  5. Some baffling selections, 2 Saints players and Waite from North was ‘important’ in their late failed comeback. Gunston in the backline when he spent most of the game up forward. Tracking well Cornesy.
  6. Same here, I’m more upset about Hogan, Lever and especially Bernie missing out this year.
  7. Sorry if I wasn’t clear enough Febes, I was talking about this week.
  8. As it sits after Round 22. Luff has been championing his butt off with us all year. #2 Contested Possession Differential #2 Pressure #1 Points For #9 Points against #2 Points From Turnovers Differential #2 Points From Clearances Differential #1 Inside 50 Differential #1 Time In Forward Half #1 Forward Half Intercepts #2 Points From Forward Half Chains Roosy also added we are 4th easiest team to be scored against but we need to play to our strengths and as we mature that will be fixed.
  9. The only Demon to make Cornes’ team of the week. Our best win in over a decade and we only have one player in the team. Goes to show what a monumental team effort it was on Sunday. Harmes rising rapidly, Red and Blue blood through and through.
  10. MCC predicting 37,000 on Sunday. Let’s get there and make it over 40,000.
  11. Cheers RD....can’t wait either. I’ve been watching Kent’s goal over and over this morning. The most crucial kick for goal in recent times for the MFC and he nailed it from 50. The kick went 60 and landed in the Demon Army. Beautiful stuff!!
  12. Where is ‘ All The Goals Video’? The AFL highlights shows as many WCE goals as they do ours....PFFFT! Won’t be getting much work done today.
  13. Goody on SEN a short time stated Viney will be training with the main squad this week or next in order to have him ready for the first week of finals. .....and Jack was like a bull at the gate in the airport lounge late last night according to Goody.
  14. First time since Pies and Hawks officially joining Demons (No.1 tenant) and Tigers in 2000 as primary tenants of the ‘G’ that all four tenants have made the finals in the same year. Time to kick them curbside.
  15. Hold on....a couple of goals just went through. Up to 40 cents....smart move waiting.
  16. Need some advice @Macca and @Wadda We Sing I have a six leg multi going in the soccer and it’s in progress. One leg is won, the other 5 games each need two more goals with 20 minutes remaining. Cash out offer......wait for it......is a whopping 30 cents. Yay or Nay???
  17. Ha ha, why wouldn’t the Basil be rowdy and boisterous? We just made the finals!!!!!!! I like the Japanese horses, had success with Delta Blues in the 2006 Melbourne Cup and Admire Rakti in the 2014 Caulfield Cup. Shame what happened with the latter in the aftermath of the 14’ Melbourne Cup.
  18. Good idea Wadda, will start researching early for the Cups. Here’s an article on three imports, Tosen Basil included.....interesting comments by Weir. Weir said Admire Robson and Cassius were on their best behaviour while Tosen Basil needed to improve his race-day manners. "He's was quite rowdy and boisterous, something that needs a bit of work on," Weir said. https://www.racenet.com.au/news/weir-trained-japanese-gallopers-go-through-their-paces-at-ballarat-20180819
  19. Melbourne Cup Watch? Just watched Marmelo run in the Group 2 Darley Prix Kergorlay at Deauville. Sent out a $1.80 favourite and couldn’t reel in the eventual winner. Finished second by a couple of lengths and looked to hang towards the outside down the straight. Race caller feels he lowered his colours today. He’s in the markets for the Cups, unsure about plans on coming down under though.
  20. Harmes doesn’t mind using his left foot either and is efficient at doing it too. Great example was the kick on his left along the boundary camera side that went straight to a teammate’s chest. Quickly becoming a weapon is Harmes.
  21. Jubilation in this short video. Well earned boys!
