Good to hear it was a winning day Macca. Order Of Command was very strong late, a bit short for me to back it. I tried something different with our picks, took our horses in a running double as my only bet and hoped if it got up the divvy would have been greater than the 2 leg multi of around $10. Finding time to even place one bet with the newborn is a mission I tell you. Galaxy Star later on, should win?

Let’s hope so. It would be good to at least watch Casey once before the main game. I remember enjoying the reserves games as a kid even it was the last half or quarter. I think kids will enjoy the curtain raiser as well, some families like to go early to games and I know in the last 2-3 years we’ve had a few women’s exhibition games along with a couple of U18s matches and my kids have taken notice and actually enjoyed them. It’s definitely better than wasting battery life on our phones like you touched on earlier.

Not very exciting for us if it’s only Sunday 3:20 games. We only have one 3:20 Sunday game in Melbourne next season and it’s at Marvel.

In the clip you posted of Sparrow the other day holding his ground in the tackling drill against Garlett and I think it was Preuss you could hear what sounded like the players/coaches were yelling out ‘Bruiser’. Do we know if Preuss is Bruiser? Cool nickname if so.

The article also states we explored Fishermen’s Bend in Port Melbourne and Burnley as options. Wonder if they will still look at these locations should the Yarra Park proposal not go through.

Not a bad race at all for this time of the year Macca, didn’t look at the fields until late in the week. The gentleman was more hopeful with Aloisia than extremely confident although the horse seems ready to fire. As you stated it hasn’t been that far away recently. I noticed 3 of our previous bests are up against each other in the last at Doomben. I’m A Rippa/Niccanova/Prioritise Can’t see Prioritise troubling the other 2 after last week’s effort but it’s a decent price and maybe one for the wider exotics.

I didn’t mind it last year as a night out for the kids and the fact the Dees were there but I wasn’t so thrilled with the whole lighting show, noise and BYO bean bag. The only way they’ll get me back there is if Wonderwoman has a team.

Small world Macca. At my daughter’s primary school graduation tonight I met the father of one of her friends and he’s into horse racing. He’s part owner of a few and one is running tomorrow against Goodfella. Her name, Aloisia. He seems to have some good types. Will post when they are running.
