I walked out after Osborne got that 50 metre penalty. The effort was there, just a better team. Also, Hawthorn supporters would have to be the least knowledgeable about the game of Australian Rules football. There is no such rule as "dropping the ball"!

The concern for Bate is that he never learned to kick the ball with his right foot and never fixed his kicking action. Everything he does is awkward and unfortunately that is what has stopped him from progressing as a player. -
He will be a very good player, but he isn't worth the reported millions that GWS are apparently willing to pay for him. Moreover, he isn't the type of player that you build a team around which GWS need.

I heard Luke Darcy refer to Heath Hocking as "elite" last night. Easily the most overused word.

As I mentioned in the other thread, what really annoyed about Morton's game on Saturday was his refusal to man-up at stoppages. At one point he was standing five metres off Dustin Martin at a ball-up in Richmond's forward line. Inexcusable.

Agreed, he needs to nip this in the bud otherwise he will end up like Bate. I rate Petterd very highly but this is his weakness. -

Agreed. Freak says he has a good kicking action but I disagree. He doesn't guide the ball to his foot enough and anything over 30 metres he tends to float.

Very surprised anyone has Scully, was a liability early with his disposal and decision making.

The only people I heard booing Miller were Richmond supporters.

Attacked the ball and opposition much better this week. Looked to have more confidence and was involved more in the game. Was a good game overall with six scoring shots.

I really enjoyed his game today, he is quick, tough and uses the ball pretty well.

Game was massively over-umpired today. Melbourne got the better of their decisions. However, the only thing worse than the umpires was Richmond.

I lost count the number of times Morton refused to stand next to his man at stoppages today. Not easy being the sub but he was woeful.
