  1. 6. Moloney 5. Rivers 4. Frawley 3. Mckenzie 2. Howe 1. Martin EDIT: Had a re-think.
  2. I take my hat off to you. I haven't seen a player glide across the ground like he does. He is fast, tough, courageous smart and uses the ball well. If I was GWS I would be offering him $1 million a year, not Scully. Great effort after a long time on the sidelines, well done. EDIT: Massive typo.
  3. Normally I don't take much note of this statistic, but in this case it was costly. The decision to not pay Howe that mark in front of goal was wrong and a massive turning point in the game.
  4. He is a long way off.
  5. Good mark and goal Green. Slim chance still.
  6. Any good work that Morton did in the first quarter has been undone in the second half. At one point I saw him run away from a contest.
  7. My God Garland has a terrible football brain.
  8. Bail will be a very good player.
  9. Best game from Bate in a long time. Looks better playing up the ground.
  10. Umpiring pathetic.
  11. Port getting a run on, Melbourne looking soft.
  12. Melbourne should be five goals up, bad kicking for goal.
  13. Missed the easiest of goals just then.
  14. Good hands by Bate. Fitzpatrick looks interesting.
  15. Entertaining game so far, Adelaide Oval looks fantastic.
  16. No need to tank, I can't see Melbourne kicking a winning score today without Jurrah.
  17. I would keep Jetta over Bartram and Morton.
  18. Going by the results this year it is true. Melbourne has generally either been thrashed or thrashed their opposition.
  19. Terrific set of hands, and I am genuinely happy he has played so well after having so many injuries. But, if he was to come to Melbourne, a complete overhaul of his kicking action would be required (which the club didn't do with Bate and Bartram). Even Tiger Woods changed his golf swing.
  20. He has Matthew Bate like kicking, can be effective but with such a flawed action, odds are he will miss more than he kick over time.
  21. OUT: Jurrah (inj), McNamara, Morton, Scully IN: Petterd, Macdonald, Bail, Davey
  22. I have never wanted joint captains, but with no stand-out for captain I think it is the now the best option in the short-term.
