  1. What was it? Generally helps when you talk about something to mention what it is.
  2. The small forward is very underrated by people on Demonland.
  3. I feel sick when I think that Petterd was playing for Casey while Morton fell over himself and floated around today.
  4. Just watching the Essendon game where Hurley just attacked the ball hard, and ran off an opponent to kick a strong goal. I have never seen Watts do that.
  5. They were good, but all of that can come undone in the blink of the eye through a player making basic mistakes.
  6. A one point win against Brisbane is equal to about a six goal or more loss against any other team.
  7. I will. Dropped a basic uncontested mark in the dying minutes that would have resulted in a goal (and Brisbane drawing level) if Rivers didn't take a great mark. Bailey wasn't happy with him for it either. If Brisbane did kick a goal from that it would have almost completely undone all the good work Jones did earlier. Those kinds of basic mistakes should never happen in a game at the elite level.
  8. 6. Rivers 5. Jurrah 4. Moloney 3. Jamar 2. Gysberts 1. Jones EDIT: Not sure how I left Gysberts out.
  9. Just need to score, Jones should be thanking Rivers, almost undid his third quarter effort with one drop mark. What was I saying about little mistakes and a lack of concentration costing goals?
  10. I'm more worried about our Captain missing a set shot from 30 metres out.
  11. It's these little mistakes and lack of concentration that lead to opposition goals.
  12. Fumble by Trengove, should not happen at AFL level.
  13. Morton is the most uninspiring player on the Melbourne list.
  14. Dunn was too slow to get the handpass off then, had to go the first option. Only a Tapscott tackle saved the play.
  15. Gysberts too slow, turnover, Brisbane goal.
  16. Still a long way to go, anything less than a win is unacceptable.
  17. Jones has been good this quarter.
  18. I don't think he is a natural leader and so he is trying to hard to become one at the expense of his own game.
  19. Green has not played well at all since becoming Captain.
  20. Lack of acceleration again from Moloney results in a turn-over
  21. I love Jurrah, but he had to lay the tackle, he went the bump and Brisbane go to the other end for a goal.
  22. Garland isn't a smart footballer. Courageous and tough but not smart. Falls over, goes to ground and gets caught watching too often.
  23. The first two steps a player takes when they have the ball or when going for the ball are the most important. Melbourne players do not understand this. Acceleration or lack there of is what is holding players like Watts and Trengove back from improving their game.
  24. I would love to see a Melbourne player get out of second gear when running for the ball today.
  25. Clint Bartram just tapped the ball directly to an opponent then, Brisbane goal. See you at Casey.
