The funniest part is that Craig Cameron has stuffed up with Addam Maric, twice!
-
Bruce, McDonald, Miller and Maric. I wonder if Buckley and Cheney will be playing next year?

Problem? That's not like you to misinterpret things, Nasher. I was pointing out that I just wasn't excited about it because he had no impact on the game. -

Yes, but he had no impact on the game. Brock's old mate Freddie could see it. -

I still remember people here getting excited about Morton's uncontested, high disposal games a couple of years ago. -

The words "sense of urgency" are ringing in my ears. Either you show something now or you are out. -
I must admit that I will be increasingly frustrated if Neeld pulls out the amount of experience excuse.

Coaches, administrators and the board drive culture just as much, if not more.

Landing a big fish. -
Regarding Air Jurrah shirts they were made to order, so no such thing as "unsold shirts". Through the sales we raised about $550 for the Mt Theo program in the NT. The shirts had nothing to do with the club.

Brett Lovett has done extremely well as the coach, well done Tom and Brett. -
I would say recruiting players from remote communities is more the issue, irrespective of race.
-
I never said otherwise.

Having a player with Jurrah's talent at Melbourne was always too good to be true.

It worked for Lewis Jetta in Sydney. Maybe someone can also teach Fitzpatrick to kick a football?

There appears to be two distinct categories that Melbourne players fall under: 1) Good skills, but poor attack on the ball 2) Poor skills, but good attack on the ball Nathan Jones was in the second group, but I would argue he is now one of a few players who attacks the ball and can use it well. My question, is it easier to improve a players' skills and decision making, or his attack on the ball and contest?

The worst season of footy in my life, 2012

Renewing the membership is the easy bit, it's having the motivation to go to games is where things become difficult. -
He did pretty well in the Demonland voting, as Nasher mentioned he had a good run of high possession games, it will be interesting to see if this is reflected in the B&F.

KC, has Valenti had another really good year or is he just favourite based on past performances in the award? -
Very surprised to see Watts and Sylvia so high up.

It will be interesting to see how many players take the full six weeks leave, if I was them I would be back at the club after four.

Positives: Really good attack on the ball shown by all players, second third and fourth efforts a real highlight. No player was ever caught flat-footed with or without the ball. Good skills and decision making, especially from Dunn and McDonald. Trengove was just too quick and sharp for his direct opponent all night, his progress has been amazing. Jack Watts laying his body on the line yet again (how is still able to walk is incredible), good to know West Coast are still upset he didn't slip down to number two in the draft. The team played as a tight unit all night, the structure held up well, there was good support offensively through their spread and defensively through blocks and shepherding. Well coached, especially around the stoppages and kick-outs. Melbourne looked to have an answer for every situation. The umpiring was as good as you are likely to see in a game of football. If anything Melbourne got the rub of the green, but you just have to take those opportunities when they come around. McKenzie's quick handpasses left Fremantle guessing as to where the ball would go next all night. Negatives Cale Morton was unavailable to play tonight. Heartbreaking to know that some players on the list have played their last ever game for the club. We don't get to see this team for another six months. -
I'm not sure the club has time to wait. If his technique is flawed now I doubt he will be able to improve it, thus he will never be able to kick the ball well.
