At the start of the year we were forced to play not quite right players in our key positions ( Frawley the exception ) now with our injuries we are forced to play never will be's in our key positions. You can rattle on about game plans & structures but we will never cut it UNTIL WE DEVELOPE MORE KEY POSITION PLAYERS! Pretty hard to have structure without a spine
Until we develop some key position players we will not meet expectations. We have one so far Frawley. Not enough, puts pressure on undersized players to fill these spots.
So lets get this straight, a tackle can be laid & completed & is perfectly legal until the recipient hits his head & is concussed right? So one second it is legal & then the next it becomes illegal. Makes perfect sense to me.
Couldn't believe my eyes this morning when reading the hun when there is Brad Scott whining that Melbourne can't use injuries or suspensions as an excuse when they've ( kangaroos ) have had players unavailable all year. What is it with this club ? Just worry about what you're doing Kangaroos and stop worrying about us. Last years whinging was bad enough
Most of the senior / older players playing at Casey are not regarded as being in the best 22 anyway or have been given plenty of opportunity and have not delivered consistantly. Seems like your source comes from one of these
Gosh how many people on here when it was suggested to go after big bodied key position players cried "best available, best available " meaning midfielders. Hindsight is a wonderful thing
One way to tell if the players will play for him , they will either come out this week & have a red hot crack and win or they will continue in the same vein, simple !
