The lengths that some people go to show others how good they are....... Yeah, you're the greatest Pet. Well done. -
Dodo will ask for 23 for that fast midget who cant kick

Over the years we have seen SO many supposedly poor deals, that end up nothing like what was rumoured. Starting to heat up now. Refresh button set to "dynamic"

Would not put it past the AFL to be dropping confected B.S to spice up tonight's live t.v extravaganza. "Dees packaging 5 x 2nd/3rd rounders in last ditch bid for Shiel" fmd

My Cambodian experience says the kid walked away with about $3 bucks change, and a huge smile on his face. Most will forget the trade once May is monstering oppo forwards for us, and Oscar can take more of a floating role.

I got a warning a while back for calling Saty "Scoota" This is only going to end one way if this bloke is who everyone suspects. Save you breath and make a call on him now, before the site becomes unreadable again.

Hi everyone. Did we win the trade period yet?

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - STEVEN MAY
faultydet replied to DemonLad5's topic in Melbourne Demons
If May is available for a full finals campaign, he will be worth the chase. Unleash May, vandenBerg, Viney, Preuss and our midfield in a Grand Final, and St Johns will need extra staff. -

Imagine the human pyramid, climbing all over each other to get a 8 x 8 contract. $64 million would attract most players I'd reckon.

Don't mind pumping your own tyres mate. You must have a yuge brain. -
You make me feel good about myself.

We give up Hogan and pick 54. We receive May, Kolodjashnij, and Langdon? Hmmm, sweet deal for us.
-
Hope you're not suggesting our FD would try to fob a player off without telling the full story? Don't think Mahoney would work that way, although I'm not sure of the rules surrounding disclosure, and whether it's up to the current club to say anything..
-
Some have posted that Jesse has been told he will play in defence next season? Any info on that?
-
Would have been a "subject to medical" blah blah blah........ I reckon the AFL would be obliged to disclose if any players have issues that the governing body has in its code of conduct. happy to be corrected.

We will finally get to shrug our shoulders at Kent's body failing him, and laugh instead of cringe when Tyson takes 5 minutes to decide on an option, before being pinged for HTB

As mentioned above, there may be solid reasons for the Freo withdrawal. In life, you cant keep missing pitches when it's your job not to. Looking forward to Wednesday arv when we can put all of this behind us.

Not sure I agree with that. In his statement, Bell made it crystal clear that we were asking too much for Hogan, without actually saying exactly what it was. We have all been hearing "2 first rounders", and that plays into his story perfectly, and gives cover for any supposed nefarious reasons. I for one cannot stand the "I know something but I wont tell you" crowd, and suspect that people are simply trying to make a name for themselves. edit(Hmm, if Chook in perth is saying things, there may be something to it) Hogan is still a Dee, and while very disappointed about missing out on May, Hogan is still quite a player.

The worst thing we can look forward to is Jesse Hogan lining up for us next year, so I'm not going to lose any sleep if we don't trade him out this year. What I can't figure out is why I'm suddenly wondering where Hogan will fit in for us considering the sudden advancement of Weidemann, and the recruitment of Preuss. I'm of the belief that we would be a better side with May at full back, than we would with Hogan at CHB. Hoping I'm wrong.

Wonder if the payment Sheahan received from the Dees for this quote will be included in our soft cap?
