If you don't know what's normal for winter at his age you must be pretty thick. Beat up story.

What was the nature of the test?

After Essedons recent failings you would think that they would not dare to poke the bear again. On the (admittedly very early) information available, it seems as if the "whatever it takes" mentality still prevails.

What is a "low grade positive"? You can't be half pregnant. What is the difference with the WuFlu?

I'd normally be very fast to blame Essendon and throw hate at them, but in this case after giving it some thought, [censored] the [censored].Ban the [censored] from the AFL comp for life. [censored][censored]

Physical strength or high marking are not TMac's strengths. He is a tall running machine. Can't see him working as a stay at home fwd.

The fact that nobody else does it kind of pointless isn't it? Weideman doesn't. Which means that it is a moot point to look to him for something he doesn't provide. We have a massive weakness in our key position players in that we are always exposed aerially. I hope our free agent focus is on people who can address this weakness while we are in possession of a ball winning midfield. Our "window" will never truly open unless we find players who can grab a contested mark.
-
That's one of Weidemans problems. He doesn't take contested marks.

Jesus Christ.

Do you love beating Carlton by 1 point after giving up a 7 goal lead? I'm disgusted, not delighted. We have massive problems in club culture.
-
Problem is, unless you poach a star coach from another club, it's always a case of hire and hope. And I honestly think we have deep seated cultural problems in our club. How many other clubs can give such depressing wins? I've been watching the Dees do this for decades. Smash a team early then sit back and get rolled. We don't often put the foot down, and that is what good clubs do. Sometimes I wonder if this club would be too much for even the best coaches. Why are we so hopeless at maintaining 4 qtr effort? Is it the list? Is it the coach? I honestly don't know, although I lean towards coaching/culture.
-
Rivers looked like a young Guy McKenna. Powerful. I hope the fluffers on here will start to see that we have serious cultural/coaching problems. This is a pretty good list, and we still cant put away a lower ranked club while our supporters talk about flags. We are MILES off.

The current problem with Weid is that he is NOT an aerial threat. That is one of the issues keeping him out of the team. On the limited occasions he finds himself contesting a mark, he double grabs and invariably spills it. I had faith in him early on, but it's starting to fade. Good to see ANB out of the side. Our kicking will improve immeasurably.

We were made to look 3rd rate in round 1. There is no getting around it, regardless of clever use of stats etc. And it's so typical of many supporters to give an excuse for losing, when BOTH teams got the same news at the same time, and only ONE performed to a standard that says their heads were in the game. It's always us who are being excused for a sub standard effort. And people wonder why we have been a laughing stock for 50 years. For people to be thinking we are going to smash Carlton this week, I think you have your head in the clouds. The Blues may very well smash us. -

We are in no place to be bagging any other side. How many times have we thought "this will be easy", only to get pumped? I'm confident of a win, but not confident that we can't lose. -
Training form is all they can be judged on. Interesting that the coaches think these ins will give us a better chance of winning. They must surely rate the kids highly. Surely Jones and Salem will be considered, and if so, who will all the outs be?

I was pisz taking. All good. ?

Wake up to yourself. Let's hope the delivery from Bennell can make a difference to our disgusting inside 50's. That would be a dream come true.
-
A 75 point final qtr? We won't kick 75 points for the game. Stop embarrassing yourself.
-
It's June and we are only a game from top spot. Exciting times.

He was a fantastic player but after all of his injury woes and time out, I wouldn't be expecting a hard tag on Bennell, at least early on. Hopefully he gets a few early touches and his self confidence skyrockets. -

If he said that it's already been decided. Welcome back to the (silent) big time Harley. Bloody shame you cant return in front of 50,000 screaming Dees fans, but enjoy the game anyway. Your family should be very proud of your personal and professional turnaround. -
