  1. Wouldn't be a '65 hit would it? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bye,_Bye,_Baby_(Baby_Goodbye) or '66? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Working_My_Way_Back_to_You And did you mean to put this in the Cerra thread?

Incredible that some on here even want to see all of the staff get a "medal" Went down the pub last week, and had a few beers with 3 time Hawthorn Premiership medal winning boot studder Albert "Club" Foote. Christ almighty.

The players who suit up on Grand Final day are the ones who will create history. The others are simply names on a list, regardless of the (important) roles they played in getting there. That's why I prefer to see only the winning 22/3 get a grand final medal. @whatwhat say whatis on the money.

Good luck mate. Hope you have a big crowd but for goodness sake, stay away from Fosters....
  5. Never ceases to annoy me how media always finds ways to give itself awards. That said, I reckon we'd all nominate Daisy for her insight. She is a football genius and soooo easy to listen to compared to the hysterical men.

Pointless question Nash. It cheapens the value of the medals that are given to people who didn't play. Give them something else if they are not satisfied with watching their mates win a flag.

Id recognise the non players with something different. A club medallion or something. Premiership medals are only for premiership players.

Only the players who actually took the field should get a medal. I've never been one for participation awards. It cheapens the real thing.

Yes Mr used car salesman trying to sell a Datsun 120Y as a Kia Stinger.
  10. If we win, Viney will win the Norm Smith. If The unthinkable happens, Macrae will win it. Unsung hero. Must be a "no name" Us - Trent Rivers Them - Bailey Dale. (ok, A.A but who has heard of him outside the Bulldogs?)
  11. Ben Brown is a bit mechanical in his movements, so that's probably a fair comment.
  12. Surprised by this. Maybe it shows that there are not many options around who the club feel could fill his role in this current "window" Or maybe he is playing exactly the role that is being asked of him. Oh well, good luck TMAC. Hope it's 3 good years to come.

Bye Jake. Thanks for your service. Shame you were ordinary at defending, otherwise you could have been about to become a Premiership player.

Id rather the entire team live between the resort and the training oval anyway. Imagine one gets a cold from some snot-nosed lolly gobbler while out and about. Stay safe Dees. We have a flag to win.
  15. Wont matter. Bevo bleating about us v them, travel, consecutive games, quarantine etc screams of a lack of confidence.
  16. Why? We were told by the club itself that he was recruited to play on the wing where he was average, and then he was moved down back where he flourished. Nothing "narrow" about that at all.
  17. That's quite a pisstake there "Les" Reckon you might have some explaining to do once your mate (the real Les) realises you have set him up.
  18. Geez he has been good in a key post down back though. Looks to be a rare find. Would be difficult for them to move him when he has found his groove. Tommo on the other hand was moved down back because he failed in the role we recruited him for.
  19. Every teams supporter are unbearable when they win a flag. It's unfortunate for me that everyone I work with follows Drugby League and as such I have nobody to spend all of my unbearableness tickets on.
  20. I reckon if we get Gunston and then target a backup (mature) ruck, Weid is in big strife.

If Jack goes at anywhere near 100%, any player who doesn't match it is asking to be injured.

faulty was also a little surprised by this.
  23. Based on his output this year, he is not decent depth at all. He was putid almost every time he set foot on the ground this year.
  24. Be excited, not worried. This is a new Demon Team. I feel we've cracked the code.
  25. Don't worry Dee. You can be jealous for one day about the game, but all of those guys are jealous the other 364 days of the year that you get to live in Queensland. Chin up mate.
