Who's that dude from Family Guy? Giggidy Giggidy?
-
I'm relying on that also. God they are amateurs.
-
Thanks, but I don't have a free to air antenna on the roof. Oh, plus i"m in North Qld.

Can't watch a T.V broadcast up here in Queensland, so tuned into SEN. [censored] me dead the ENTIRE broadcast is about nothing more than betting, interrupted by Brownlow votes. Infuriating.
-
That's hilarious. Your Carlton mate might be there to share the hangover though.
-
You must be quite young. It's been a very long and painful time since we've been in the position to laugh at Geelong. They however have been stomping on us for what seems like forever. Let everyone enjoy it while they can.
-
What would it mean to me? I don't have any family or friends here to share it with apart from my lovely wife. The feeling will be awesome but not the same as being down in Vic with my clan. I'm looking forward to everyones kids, the poor innocent little tackers finally being able to wear the Red and Blue guernsey that all of us oldies make them wear and not be teased, bullied, ridiculed or laughed at. To see our little Demons walk around with pride, knowing they are finally wearing the colors of a club that has reached the top.

Best thing I've read this year. Hope like hell you are crying tears of joy next weekend.

Imagine how you're gunna feel when Max lifts the cup.
-
Pretty sure he is referring to "Woey", or Shane Woewodin. Ex Dees Bronwlow Medallist.
-
Yeah it sucks, but what can you do? Some of us (Queenslander here) have only witnessed a single game in the past 8 years, but it hasn't diminished the love I have for the club or the amount of damage I do to my lungs, liver and nervous system while supporting the Dees. You've no choice but to suck it up mate. The Chinese don't care about our feelings.

Spargo would accept a potion from Stephen Dank before he'd pull out of a Grand Final team.

I keep looking at this wondering why Brian Taylor is so involved in our training.

Reckon you are correct. That Cats list will look horrendous once the pensioners realize their time is up. If it doesn't happen this year, round 22 next year will see the cats lose a dozen players. The following year they will be struggling to avoid a top 4 draft pick.

Lets be honest. The Bulldogs are a very dangerous side and as much as we all roll our eyes at the "us v them" mentality, if it works for you, it works for you. They have tremendous talent in the midfield, and in the Mullet and his young sidekick Cody Weightman and even of late, Mitch Hannan, they have dynamic forwards who are capable of breaking apart our defensive zone. And aerially, May can be troubled by the huge leap and sure hands of Naughton. He has already said that this is his hardest matchup in the AFL. We should also be concerned if Schache does the same job on Lever as he did on Aliir Aliir, who he destroyed in their Prelim. That will seriously curtail our movement out of half back. They can also cut us up with that manic run backed up by seriously good foot skills. The Bulldogs can absolutely win this game. They have hit peak form at the perfect time, have a fit list and their strengths can expose us if we are not 100% on for the ENTIRE game. I still believe we will win because of our system, but will not be surprised one iota if the Bulldogs get up.
-
Looking at recent history (Lever, Langdon and possibly May) they were all discussed as having been in the Dees sights for years prior to coming over. This is starting to smell like we've been into Cerra for longer than we are letting on. If we can fit him in the salary cap it makes sense that our list management team has been involved for quite a while.
-
Surely they would know that their window has just been slammed shut. But yeah, if they are that delusional, fantastic. let them burn up all of their draft picks on old talent from other clubs and continue to [censored] away their future.
-
The watch idea is a great one. Part of a Premiership campaign but not on the ground when the cup was won.
-
This is getting ridiculous. That same co-driver played a quarter and a bit of the "grand final" Your logic is awarding a trophy to the test driver.
-
If the Premiership is ours, where will you celebrate?

Was sure you were taking the [censored] until I Googled both. Nice work.

Wouldn't be a '65 hit would it? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bye,_Bye,_Baby_(Baby_Goodbye) or '66? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Working_My_Way_Back_to_You And did you mean to put this in the Cerra thread?

Incredible that some on here even want to see all of the staff get a "medal" Went down the pub last week, and had a few beers with 3 time Hawthorn Premiership medal winning boot studder Albert "Club" Foote. Christ almighty.
-
The players who suit up on Grand Final day are the ones who will create history. The others are simply names on a list, regardless of the (important) roles they played in getting there. That's why I prefer to see only the winning 22/3 get a grand final medal. @whatwhat say whatis on the money.

Good luck mate. Hope you have a big crowd but for goodness sake, stay away from Fosters....
