    So do I !!
  5. You can pay with card as a pay pal guest. I don't like using a PayPal account either.
  6. They have 2 new 2m players. Fcs! How do we not be able to find some.
  7. Tall Suns side. Hope it rains!
  8. Gee I wish the facepalm emoji was back!!!
  9. Didn't know donations were a thing. I don't really venture away from the forum page. Found the link in the menus, all done. Good luck getting to the target, and hopefully exceeding to help with ongoing maintenance.
  10. Good point, I'm looking forward to tonight's game now!!
  11. I don't know why but I thought our game this year was in the Hills, at Mt Barker. Just looked and thankfully it's at Adelaide Oval. Hope you get a good session Rossmillan, but these captains runs do seem to be a lot of [censored] and giggle. Good to get a real size reference for the players though. Enjoy!!
  12. Growing up there was a book I had that I'm pretty sure was called "A footy is a ball". Can't seem to see it online but it was was funny and explained the game parodically. Explained positions like the full forward, "used to be a skinny young tall but with the advent of gorilla full backs have had to become man mountains", or "...for some reason decides it is more sporting to win the game through kicking points than goals", or words to that effect. Now that would educate her. Gee I wish I still had a copy!!!
  13. Thought preseason we would loose to North and the Suns. Quick young sides. It is always harder tackling these types early in the season. Not helped by the speed and class we are missing. Will be horrible but we will be back.
  14. Wow, watched the game then cooked dinner. This escalated quickly!!!
  15. We will see. I'd rather be happy than right any day.
  16. I have to admit that I had this down as a danger game pre season, and that is before the list of outs got bigger. We seem to struggle against the fast moving teams and with the pace and skill we are missing it won't be any easier. God I hope I'm wrong.
  17. Thanks for making that tune an earworm again!!!
  18. Nope
  19. It was funny that the reaction of people around me when it first happened was "what the heck was that". They soon got into it and dancing around though.
  20. I don't know art, but I know what I like; and I really enjoyed the jig dancing. Even found myself getting into it while watching the replay even though they didn't show the dancers.
  21. We got there this morning. First time at Goschs paddock. Had no idea were it was so took a few wrong turns. Son got a picture with Nathan Jones to send to daughter in Perth, goes with her many selfies with him from years of Mooloolaba training sessions. Have only ever been to training a few times so I don't really have a great reference point, but to me Jeffo looked very nervous and like he had the weight of the world on his shoulders. Don't know if that is just him normally, but I really hope he can relax and have a great debut.
  22. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
  23. About time. Even if nothing is found, the AFL is saying we are watching. Might slow GFC down for a while as they are genuinely pulling the [censored]. Doubt anything will come from it but in my eyes there is no way they are not cheating.
  24. I was there for my annual game last year. Coldest night I have ever been in. I've had to sleep in the snow and wasn't as cold as that night. Mrs Right and I went to 'the lounge' from the MFC hospilitaly. Thankfully too, the venue, food and drinks were great, as were the level 2 seats; however, we were so cold (from Brisbane) we had to spend the second half inside. This year we have gone one better and booked for the President's club and were are taking our Son as a wedding present. I look forward to the lunch, being much warmer, and hopefully going the team also going one better. Looking forward to hopefully seeing Langford play, and to see Tracc and Clayton back to their best. I also find Windsor very watchable and if he can come to grips with halfback he we will be a huge meterage player. Excited to say the least. P.s. last time we went to round 1 was the flag raising vs the Bulldogs. I hope we emulate that result. Still trying to defrost from last year!!!
