  1. We got there this morning. First time at Goschs paddock. Had no idea were it was so took a few wrong turns. Son got a picture with Nathan Jones to send to daughter in Perth, goes with her many selfies with him from years of Mooloolaba training sessions. Have only ever been to training a few times so I don't really have a great reference point, but to me Jeffo looked very nervous and like he had the weight of the world on his shoulders. Don't know if that is just him normally, but I really hope he can relax and have a great debut.

  3. About time. Even if nothing is found, the AFL is saying we are watching. Might slow GFC down for a while as they are genuinely pulling the [censored]. Doubt anything will come from it but in my eyes there is no way they are not cheating.
  4. I was there for my annual game last year. Coldest night I have ever been in. I've had to sleep in the snow and wasn't as cold as that night. Mrs Right and I went to 'the lounge' from the MFC hospilitaly. Thankfully too, the venue, food and drinks were great, as were the level 2 seats; however, we were so cold (from Brisbane) we had to spend the second half inside. This year we have gone one better and booked for the President's club and were are taking our Son as a wedding present. I look forward to the lunch, being much warmer, and hopefully going the team also going one better. Looking forward to hopefully seeing Langford play, and to see Tracc and Clayton back to their best. I also find Windsor very watchable and if he can come to grips with halfback he we will be a huge meterage player. Excited to say the least. P.s. last time we went to round 1 was the flag raising vs the Bulldogs. I hope we emulate that result. Still trying to defrost from last year!!!
  5. Been winning?? 🀣
  6. Mine auto renewed last October, but I don't have to activate the code until the old subscription expires. Or are you asking about changing from a different type of membership ( like armchair) to the digital one? A few years ago I changed my Armchair to a 3 game as I had a chance to get to a game, I rang and they changed for me. The membership team will be worth a call.
  7. Smart kid keeping his bridges intact. I don't see the concern.
  8. Now that is a cracking horse name!
  9. Brain storming?
  10. It is on Kayo.
  11. We really do need that facepalm emoji back!!
  12. I booked for the presidents club for round 1. I am really hoping that he speaks and I'm looking forward to it.
  13. My guess is Nathan Jones.
  14. Thanks. I didn't realise that's what you meant, I thought something else might have happened too. Appreciate the clarification.
  15. DeeSpencer, could you please elaborate a bit more on the effectively priority pick? I'm not following that.
  16. Couple of them are traveling to court!!

Is Deakin Smith still playing half back?
  18. Terrible luck for the kid, but this should shorten the rising star odds for Langford.
  19. Woey could do it.

    I do....
  22. Hope you have booked already Ungarie. I decided to get tickets to the Pesidents lunch this year as we are taking our son to Melbourne to shop for his wedding suit and treat him to a game at the G. Thought round 1 was great solution for us and grabbed the expensive tickets in early January. We then went to book flights and accommodation and thought prices were much higher than usual for our annual trip down. Then we found out the Grand Prix was on and felt a right wally. All our usual gotoos were unavailable or way over priced. Decided to power on though rather than trying to cancel the game tickets. We managed to get a 2 bdrm apartment on the MCG corner of the CBD, but when we look nowdays things are getting even more expensive, so book as early as you can if you haven't already. Also found good restaurants hard to get into (not surprising) but we have managed to secure a booking at Phillipe for the Saturday. We aren't used to eating at 5 o'clock (4pm for our qld body clocks) but it will still be great. All up it would be cheaper to take him to Singapore but we are really looking forward to a great trip, informative lunch and hopefully a great game. Our last few trips down have been narrow losses. P.S. I'm also keen to know details about the captains run training.
  23. No appropriate emoji for this. I totally agree with you.
