Hate to rain on your parade but Al was speaking of concurrent years not consecutive!
-
Or Harmes.
-
With the reigning Premiers likely to pick up Fitzy, we're we too hasty in delisting him rather than either keeping him on the list or using him as valuable trade bait? He may have been a good straight swap for some of the players that have left Hawthorn in the last week seeking other opportunities! http://www.pressreader.com/australia/herald-sun/20151016/283081298056028/TextView

No mention at all of Harmes (or White). Obviously Bucks did not watch our last match (a win at Etihad)!
-
Sandor Earl's four year suspension was back-dated to 2013 (when it was the last time he played)! In the case of Essendon players, August 2015 was the last time those still in the system played. The (so-called) voluntary suspension that some elected to 'serve' last year was a farce, as they still continued to report for work, train and play practice matches. They only thing that they didn't do was field a full list for the NAB Challenge. Unless it walks like a duck, quacks like a duck and looks like a duck, then it probably isn't a duck (read suspension for duck)!
-
But we didn't have Lewis Jetta to swap for him!End of story!
-
It doesnt matter as they have Kennedy and Seedsman as currency (or whatever pick they get from Adelaide for him)!
-
As at 4.00pm the official MFC website still had Mahoney talking about Howe being traded to the Gold Coast. Obviously he is not logging on to the AFL website!
-
And the contract has 500 pages covering every possible worst case scenario!
-
I think that we get dudded on this deal unless Collingwood also throw in Kennedy for us!
-
How has he served six months? Are you suggesting that continuing to train with the Club during the pre-season, playing practice matches (and presumably being paid by your Club) is a bonafide suspension? Surely in that case we can advise WADA that (the balance of) his suspension will be served in the next three pre-seasons (whilst we continue to allow him to train as Essendon did)!

Source? Details?

As Bonkers points out, over the last two years (post Roos) we have utilised our top ten picks to gain four long-term players who will represent our future going forward. None seem to be duds. I trust our recruiters to make the right call again this year, whether it be Parish, Francis or Curnow!
-
So does Howe make the final decision on this if we prefer the GC deal and Howe prefers the Collingwoood deal? I think that we will finish up with Kennedy at the end of the Trade Period in any event whereas, unless we do a Howe and pick 6 swap with GC, we will not end with pick 3 any other way.

I would rather see Howe forced into the PSD (and I loathe Carlton)!

Because our picks are before Collingwoods + we're nicer people!

If we hadn't been too quick to give it away on the Melksham trade!
-
We should have traded our second round pick from Port Adelaide (for Toumpas)! I agree it seems like overs to me!
-
So we offload five 100+ game players and improve one pick for six kids? I am not sure that that would be Roos thinking!
-
I would be staggered if Watts is traded, particularly for a first round pick. I think that he is more valuable to us than any other Club and both Roos and Goodwin would have clear plans on how they see him in the eventual structure, going forward.
-
If we can trade Howe and pick 6 to GC for picks 3 and 19 then it is a win-win. The Gold Coast pick up a highlight reel who they can market, whilst not losing any players and retaining a high pick. By upgrading our first round pick we ensure we get our target (whether that be Curnow or Francis) and get a high second round pick to assist us in getting our midfield trade targets over the line.

Toumpas to Port Adelaide Moore to Collingwood Kennedy to Melbourne (No draft picks involved.)
-
I am warming towards Curnow, from the player reviews and highlights. He would be a nice complement to Hogan in our forward structure although Francis down back would further strengthen our run out of attack. Also 19 will assist with our other trades this week (along with anything we engineer with Toumpas)!

There is 50 lanes that I could see, plus the additional lanes on the RHS. It escapes me why motorists aren't travelling on the empty three lane road on the LHS however?
