The umpiring at afl level is average on a good day, and atrocious on a bad day.today is worse than bad.
-
We may win, we may not. But today we are saying we will not take any more bullying from anyone. I'm loving this.
-
J. Harmes, that's why you're here.
-
How good to see Mitchell get up sooking after getting a hit from watts. Then a great duck by Cyril. Olympic diving starting this weekend is fitting.
-
There needs to be a investigation into the umpiring. Disgraceful
-
Umpires starting to assert their dominance.
-
Bernie Vince is not right, couldn't run to chase then. Anyone else notice?
-
That petracca kick was outstanding.
-
Well. The less said about that game the better. I'd take a win, considering the past 10 years. But that was not a good spectacle of AFL footy. Good boy jack watts
-
Deeeee-plorable so far.

MATCH PREVIEW AND TEAM SELECTION - Round 19
Generation dee replied to Demonland's topic in Melbourne Demons
Yes! Gold Coast, whilst having a plethora of injuries, have 2 very good key Backman as well as Sam day who can play either end. Playing hullet this week on rory Thompson would be a confidence killer first up, even if we won easily. At least Dawes can have a nil all draw. Dawes was solid last week, deserves his spot and hopefully this week we get the desired result -
Classic. Because we kicked the goals we have, we are where we are. But if we hadn't, we wouldn't be going as well as we are. Oh man you win the life award today. That's going to take some topping in a thread already full of classics. Are you Donald Rumsfeld? Please say yes.
-
It's half correct I think your distaste for that poster clouds your comprehension of what he is saying. Which is fine, but do you disagree that kicking a goal with numerous cameras, thousands of spectators and millions of home viewers, coupled with game time fatigue and the pressure of the scoreboard is harder to prepare for than kicking at training?

MFC 2016 Membership - Record Broken. Next stop: 40,000

And vice versa. I'd love if the club printed off general admission tickets for my allocated games, and I just used my membership pass to get into the relevant areas when I can attend. Because if I had surplus GA tickets, I'd be looking to donate them to someone who wants to go but can't afford it as often. Sadly, my seat is often empty at our home games. -
MFC 2016 Membership - Record Broken. Next stop: 40,000

I bought mine last year on literally the last day that memberships count. I'd been travelling overseas prior. Not to mention the people with tighter money availability who may have just done their tax or saved for a membership for example. Plenty of members don't get to as many games. I'm a foundation hero and a trident member and unfortunately work away, so my membership is almost "wasted" in terms of match day attendance. -
You are more pathetic. Sick of your garbage. He saved countless inside 50 thrusts. But you never see them
-
That hurts so bad. To go to perth and dominate at every stat? Wce have never faced that pressure And we lost. Gawn shouldn't have been on the mark at that last free against him, we missed too many shots and we just lacked a little cleanliness going forward in the last third. That hurts in a big way, but that is proof that this team of on the right track. Go home tonight proud of your club because we are going to be a force. There is no doubting that. We are going up . Next year when we play there we will not be intimidated as we know we can do it. Today hurts, tomorrow the sun comes up and we prepare for next week. We are so close fellow demonlanders

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - ANGUS BRAYSHAW
Generation dee replied to ashdemons22's topic in Melbourne Demons
Like grimes? I get what you're saying but as long as the eating and drinking habits are very much above average, I don't think it's an issue to be bulldozing through a meat pie or hot chips every now and then. -
Thanks for that. It was more on relation to his "disposals per minute" when the previous poster mentioned his average over his career.
-
Just out of interest, how many of Brayshaw's games are effected by being sub?

And you can tell that after such an interrupted second season, after such a terrific first season? Posts like this are ridiculous. Doesn't have one area that's elite? 7 clearances yesterday. In his first game back in 2 months. That's without mentioning his hands in close or his ability to dispose both sides of his body. Go and have a green tea and come back at the end of next year.
