  1. Cheers Tommo, you played some great games for us including the first couple months of '21 not to mention QB in '23. Hopefully Adams takes the next step in '25 or Jefferson plays which allows either Turner or Petty to play back because this is a pretty big hit to our defensive depth. Maybe Kruger and/or Andrew incoming?
  2. So 49 for Sharp and maybe a F4th? Makes you wonder if we're just planning to take the two top ten picks into the draft and nothing else. I wonder if we're still trying to pry the Derk out of GWS.
  3. Wow, last I heard it was reported we were giving up F1 and 28 alongside potentially a late pick swap. Stoked to get 9 in this year's draft, but ouchie, that's a hefty price all of a sudden.
  4. Important to note that outside of Salem and Tyson (who played some great games for us), we also received a third round pick as part of that trade which became Jayden Hunt.
  5. I'm hoping we pick up Alix Tauru with pick 9 should we take it into the draft. Tall, aggressive and can play anywhere. I'd happily take him over Armstrong who is rated higher in a couple of phantom drafts.
  6. Wowzers, that's a good deal for us if we can make a good fist of it next year. Cheers Bombers.
  7. It was always going to be hard for an 18-year-old key forward to make an impact when he hasn't had a full AFL pre-season while also playing for a bottom six VFL side. While time is on LK's side, will we give him that time? We've just jettisoned KFW after two years when he clearly needed more time in the system. I'm hoping we have a bit more patience in Luker's development.
  8. Don't mind that. Get a couple of quality youngsters in what is considered to be a good draft to alongside Windsor and Kolt from last year. That's a good injection of young talent with hopefully Jefferson also debuting next year.
  9. Forever a premiership Demon. Cheers ANB.
  10. Honestly, considering recent events, I'd say that retaining all of Petracca, Oliver and Pickett could be considered a successful trade period. Outside of Campbell, I wouldn't be surprised if we continue to look at Derksen and potentially another first round pick and that's all.
  11. ANB was class personified. Complete polar opposite to the Bolton/Baker speeches from Richmond's B&F. Nothing but love in the room.
  12. Any Trac mentions in the speeches tonight?
  13. Nothing against this. With Fullerton and Verrell still seemingly miles off selection (we choose to play Petty as a key ruck before them for goodness sake), Campbell seems a low risk high reward recruit. Welcome TC.
  14. Looking forward to trading Oliver and coming into round 1 with a potential starting midfield of Sparrow, Parfitt and Rivers 🔥🔥🔥
  15. I think Spargo may surprise a few next year provided his achilles heel is no longer his achilles heel. We missed his entries inside 50 this season.
  16. I'd be more concerned about his proclivity for striking people during games.
  17. Braydon Preuss delisted by GWS. Ironic how he moved for more opportunities yet he played more games for us as a back up ruck during his two year tenure than he did over four years at the Giants.
  18. Happy to give this guy a crack considering the lack of established options coming into trade period. What would GWS want for him?
  19. Nice to know that things are progressing, but it still seems like there's still at least a minimum two year wait until construction starts (that is if this next stage in the process gets the all clear). Caulfield is a substantial improvement over Casey, but I still wish we were given the go ahead to redevelop Gosch's to include our own facilities instead.
  20. Windsor and Reid would be an exciting young midfield combo.
  21. I'd rather Kennedy out of the Blues camp but he might be an improvement over the likes of Billings and Spargo.
  22. Martin has struggled with injuries since moving to Carlton and hasn't played a full AFL season since 2017 which is all I think we need to know. He'll be picked up, but I think he's more likely to go west at this point.
  23. Absolute no brainer. Tommy just played his most consistent season since arguably 2018. With Tomlinson likely St Kilda bound, Adams still developing and Turner's new role in the forward line we need all the tall defensive depth we can muster. This will also give him a decent chance at 250 games next year as well which would be a terrific achievement and well deserved.
