  1. Tyla Hanks. She’s a star ❤️❤️❤️
  2. Caddy has the x-factor but seems to go missing through the matches. Not sure he’s a fit for us given we have medium tall forwards already. But I’ll say, when he’s good though, he’s very good.
  3. @adonski”Sanders looks like he'll be a good player but doesn't provide any real point of difference, doesn't look like he can play anywhere else other than midfield either”. That’s because he’s a midfielder. Class. Smart. Skilled. We don’t want him anywhere else. We have plenty of hybrid small half forwards or small half backs. We need a potential A grader young midfielder coming through. Everybody knows I am picking Sanders at 6 if available (or Curtin) and either OSullivan or Wilson at 11 if available.
  4. Crows fan site getting excited that Sanders will fall to them. ‘Tell em they’re dreamin’ 🤣🤣🤣
  5. I’d be totally amazed if we passed on Sanders if he was available. He’s exactly what we need. Skilled smart pacy mid.
  6. 1. Harley Reid (Mid/Fwd) - Vic. WCE 2. Jed Walter * (Key Fwd - Vic). GCS 3. Zane Duursma (Mid/Fwd - Vic). NMFC 4. Colby McKercher (Mid - Tas). NMFC 5. Nick Watson - (Small Fwd Vic). HAW 6. Daniel Curtain - (Key Def/Fwd WA) WB 7. Ryley Sanders (Mid - Tas) MEL 8. Nate Caddy - (Key Fwd/Mid - Vic) GWS 9. Ethan Read * (Ruck - GC). GCS 10. Connor O'Sullivan (Key Def/Fwd - Vic) GEE 11. Caleb Windsor (Mid - Vic) ESS 12. James Leake (Def- Tas). ADEL 13. Jordan Croft ** (Key Fwd - Vic) 14. Jake Rogers * - (Mid - GC) 15. Darcy Wilson - (Mid/Fwd - Vic) MEL That would work nicely … although Ollie Murphy might also come into contention at 11,12,15.
  7. @Lord Travis ditto from me - add two of the classiest running midfielders in the draft with good pace and skill (Sanders and Wilson 👏👏)
  8. Target is definitely Ollie Florent. Runs strongly and skill is above average. Throw a minimum 4-5 year contract and see if there’s a bite.
  9. key defenders: May, Petty*, Tomlinson (Adams) (K.Turner) tall defenders: Lever, D.Turner, Joel Smith* med/sml/running defenders: Rivers, Bowey, Salem, Mcvee inside Mids: Petracca, Oliver, Viney, Brayshaw, Sparrow, Laurie outside Mids: Langdon, Hunter, Woey jnr, Billings (Howes) key forwards: JVR, Petty*, BBB#,Tmcd# , Schache, Fullerton (Jefferson) tall forwards: Fritsch, Joel Smith*, Melksham# (Sestan) small forwards: ANB, Pickett, Spargo, Chandler, McAdam , (ANW) Rucks: Gawn (Verrell) (Farris-White) - plus add 3 more players for 44. - plus SSP player in preseason as injury replacement for Melksham.
  10. I made the number 24 famous at the combine Tooronga Malvern. Perhaps the worst player to wear it !!!
  11. Yes probably see Kye Turner delisted. Can’t see him staying on given we would want to add 6,11 and Kynan Brown (use pick 42 to match if required) and a rookie. Hopefully Billy Wilson as a rookie if he’s available.
  12. Port , Swans, Bombers, Blues and Pies are the winners. They have added players that will definitely fit into their best 22 for round 1.
  13. Three punts on fringe types who could be valuable or could be wasted additions. Time will tell. Let’s hope for the best.
  14. In: Shane McAdam, Tom Fullarton, Jack Billings, pick 11, 42, a future second-round draft pick, and a future third-round draft pick. Out: James Jordon, James Harmes, Brodie Grundy, pick 14, 27, 35, a future second and third-round pick. Draft picks 6,11,42
  15. Surely we aren’t about trade Chandler out ?
  16. Great article. Love the final sentences. Where will Billings land, though? That's the future fourth-round question.
  17. Billings - hmmm. I’m a No. but if we had an appetite , surely only for a future 4th rounder and they pay half his wages We are helping the Saints like we helped the Pies and Dogs last year with salary dumping it’s another spin of the roulette wheel
  18. Yes all the Adelaide news and media were in a frenzy. Petty playing golf with Hinge and his good mate Darcy Fogarty. Harry. Not good timing !!! Comments indicated low chance this year, likely chance next year and probably at end of 2025. Dees have been patient and built him through his early career. We couldn’t afford to have May and Petty go which is a possibility at end of 2025. Dees fans are always nervous with interstate young stars. Scott Thompson. Jeff Farmer. Jesse Hogan. Luke Jackson. Lots of go home issues with Dees players previously. In fact our games record holders are predominantly Victorians by a mile with a few Tasmanians added. Todd Viney at 233 games is the standout for his long service and ignoring the go home factor.
  19. @Bring-Back-Powell That was 2017. He was at his peak back then. He has declined ever since. Last 2 years particularly disappointing and below average. Injuries? Lack of opportunities?
  20. Not sure we need him. Too many small forwards already and he’s not in our midfield needs. Lots of wing types with Lingers, Hunter, Woey jnr and Howes already. Plus look at add two young classy mids in Mckercher/Sanders and Wilson/Windsor. Billings likely consume salary cap $$$s. Best offer is a future 4th rounder and Saints min 1/3rd of his wage for next 2 years on contract. BTW I remain in the “no” vote for Billings.
  21. Good post @old55 it’s exactly my thinking query… do you think we will trade out this years pick “42” as it is unlikely we will use it . It probably depends on wherever Kynan Brown gets nominated which may be around that mark. We might even look to trade “42” to Crows or West Coast for a future 3rd ?
  22. Hibbo retired. Dunstan retired. Deakyn Smith (r) delisted. Started with 5*, 13, 25*, 33 (2x 1st round and 2x second round). *Freo picks from Jackson trade. then… OUT- Jordon Free agent to Sydney -> Compo end of second round (39) OUT- Harmes trade to Bulldogs-> 2024 future WB3rd rd OUT- Grundy trade to Sydney-> 3rd rd pick 46 and 2024 future Syd2nd rd OUT - draft picks 14,27,35 to GC Suns IN -> Pick 11 IN ->Tom Fullerton -> MFC 2023 draft pick 46 to Lions IN -> Shane McAdam > MFC 2024 2nd round draft Dees now hold 2023 picks 6, 11, 42 Dees still hold their future 2024 1st and 2nd round picks and 2 x third round picks (incl one tied to the dogs)
  23. IN - Shane McAdam > MFC 2024 2nd round draft Dees now hold 2023 picks 6, 11, 42 plus an extra 2024 third rounder pick (dogs)
  24. Last year. No Last week. No Today. No Tomorrow and every other day. No.
