I think Ben Ross is a very good mid. Unlucky to be delisted by Kansas. Starred in vfl in 2012

agree ... Gartlett has cyril rioli like skills and smarts BUT none of the hard running, chasing and tackling. AFL demands this.

I think MFC still need skilled players. Andrew Boston from Qld was 100% efficient at the draft combine. He uses it to elite levels on birth right & left sides. Can be wing/high half fwd. Kicked bags of goals in NEAFL.

Had GWS gone for Toumpas, we would not have taken O'rourke or Plowman. We WOULD have chosen Wines. Jimmy is a gun but feel for Wines.

Many good ones still available IMO ... SA : Colquohoun, Vfl - Osborne , Vic TAC: Pongracic , Hams, Mansfield, Haynes , Ballard WAFL: Nelson, Warrell , Lowrie , Wilkins . Qld : Boston. For me, Sam Colquohoun has Elite skills and class, and Jacob Ballard is a ballwinner with a mature build. These guys are unlucky not to get drafted and are "good" rookie options. Plenty of good players have come through as rookie. They take the disappointment and drive harder.
