  1. this is another throwaway line from a 2nd rate rag. point the finger at Tim Harrington as the list manager.
  2. 8: Chris Dawes 6: James Frawley 4: Nathan Jones 2: Colin Garland -12: Rohan Bail Oh dear, DemonsBail spills a chest mark as Breust kicks his fifth
  3. Tell Gartlett to skip the AFL Draft and we will sign as a PSD #2. He has Huge Talent and we cannot ignore !!
  4. ranked in order Dawes – tough. Marked well. Gave a target. Can move between FF & CHF. 21 disposals, 12 marks and a goal Frawley – great game. Nullified and chased down Franklin N.Jones – only AFL top quality midfielder on our list. 28 disposals and 11 clearances. Garland – held Roughhead. Good game. Howe – not enough but is good AFL standard Watts – must play in Forward 50 Jamar – up to standard. Needs more around the ground. Davey - classy and must play Forward 50 Pederson – solid CHB. Must keep building Trengove - improving Dunn – battled. Terlich – settled in. Strauss – some good. Some bad. Needs to learn to tackle. Evans – hmmm. Battles. Kent – yes some glimpses. Keep in. Tapscott – sub. Got involved. M.Jones – quiet. Fitzpatrick - cause for optimism Rodan – up/down, circles, fumbles, good tackles. Missed sitter of a goal.Hmmm. Macdonald – battled. McKenzie -below required standard (casey??) Bail - was the worst
  5. Chris Dawes stood up tonight. Well done.
  6. Terlich Sellar Garland Strauss Pedersen Dunn M.Jones Couch Trengove Taggart Dawes Howe Davey Fitz Watts Jamar Sylvia N Jones Kent, Mckenzie, Tapscott Sub: Evans in- Sylvia, Taggert, Sellar, Couch out - Bail, Rodan, J Macd, Frawley (inj) Sellar in for Frawley Taggert - lets see him... Sylvia - thank you 3 weeks have gone Couch - deserves a go. We need more in & under. Make or break J Macd - love him, but a battler Rodan - OMG , fumbles, runs in circles Bail - falls over, misses tackles, fumbles. Keep walking & delist.
  7. No strategy. No development. No inspiration. No wins (well one agst the GWS after 30 mins of footy) IMO, Neeld must go.
  8. Only ostriches stick their heads in the sand ... and you !!
  9. Tommorrow 33000 MFC members will anticipate a flogging from the Hawks. 10 goals defeat would be ...Ok. 90 points ... expected. 120 points ... probable. 150 points - Neeld can pack up. I hate accepting and expecting to lose. I love footy, but am envious of other clubs. I want a contest, respect, a chance of a win. Not a dead duck footy season. The dead years of 2007-12 were at least giving some hope, with draft picks expected to create or regenerate the "premiership dream " of a side for MFC. 2013 is an empty season.
  10. Develop Gawn, Taggert, Tynan, Toumpas, Kent (and of course Hogan) all at Casey this year. They will get a winning feel and play alongside each other.
  11. agreed. Joel McD gives 100% all the times. others could follow his example.
  12. finally some straight answers as much as possible. neeld still talks in riddles.
  13. Recruit 5-6 mids in the off season, including 3 current AFL 1sts players. Daisy Thomas, Dylan Shiel, Dion Prestia are all key targets
  14. I reckon 9.6 from Buddy. He may beat us (whole MFC score) head to head !!!
  15. Likely... Backs Sellar Panozza L Tynan Half backs J Tynan Gillies Davis Centreline Nicholson Couch Toumpas Half forwards Taggert Spencer Smith Forwards Nicholls Hogan Blease Followers Gawn Magner Gent Interchange (from) Best Clisby Hillard* Hughes Matthews Get down and checkout Tom Cuuran for the Zebs. I have seen him 3 times and would like MFC to nab him before the Saints do. Has real zip and smarts around goal.
  16. The line in the sand ... maybe this week. I fear the worst 100+ thrashing again
  17. Liam Anthony has had minor injuries and is behind Ziebell, Adams, Cunnington & Swallow in North inside mid role. Has 33+ possies in VFL in last 2 weeks and dominated.
  18. Davis disposal is improving but still has major 3-4 turnovers a game !!
  19. moving on ...spoke to a mate at work today who is a hawks supporter. He rates Shane Savage highly but he has been squeezed out by Breust and even can't crack a game with Rioli out inured. Given hawks have Hill & Anderson coming through, Hawks would jump at Savage for pick 38. Win/win.
  20. Sellar - gone Nicho - gone/trade J Macd - gone Davis - gone Bail - gone /trade Davey - gone (hopefully as a free agent) Rodan - gone Spencer - GONE that's 8 OUT. Bring in Shiel & pick 55 (tde#2), Prestia (#tde20), Savage (trade#38), Liam Anthony (trade for Nicho), add Hogan and Magner, add Draftees #55 & #56 (Jake Lever and Jarman Impey). Now that's a strategy
  21. Don McL:ardy - President GONE Mark Neeld – Senior Coach GONE Tim Harrington – General Manager - List Management 50/50 Todd Viney - General Manager - Player Development & Strategy KEEP Neil Craig - Director Of Sports Performance GONE Josh Mahoney – Football Manager GONE Jade Rawlings – Backline Coach GONE Brian Royal - Midfield Coach GONE Leigh Brown – Forward Line Coach KEEP David Misson – Elite Performance Manager KEEP
  22. Implement Peter Jackson recommendations. Sack Neeld at end 2013. Appoint Worsfold on 4yr contract Liam Anthony (NMFC) ... offer 3-yr contract and trade for Daniel Nicholson Aiden Riley (Crows) Matthew Jaensch (Crows) Todd Banfield (Lions) Shane Savage (Hawks) ... offer 3-year contract and pick #38 trade Mitch Hallahan (Hawks) Tom Curran (Saints) and priorities: Dylan Shiel (GWS) ... offer a 4-year contract and pick #2 trade Dion Prestia (Suns) ... offer a 3-year contract and pick #20 trade Sign Jesse Hogan to a 4-year extension. Sign Colin Sylvia for a further 3-years to end 2016 Sign James Frawley for a further 3-years to end 2016 Get POSTERS of Jeremy Howe printed and sent to all junior supporters I love this club. We are Melbourne. We will not be silenced. Unleash HELL.
