  1. post numbet 14 on this thread ... Christian Petracca will be a star. If available, MFC MUST GRAB HIM.
  2. Petrecca is the gun choice for me.
  3. Petracca is a gun. Would be happy to see him in red and blue. Next choice is Brayshaw. Tough ball magnet.
  4. Get Christian Petrecca. Full stop. He is a gun. Tough and skilled. Ready to play round 1 in 2015.
  5. Christian Petracca would be ideal in red and blue in 2015. With Billy Stretch and another key midfielder. With Tyson tagged, we lost our midfield drive and clearances.
  6. Nev Jetta was a star today. Back from the brink ...
  7. Tyson will be a star. I can see him taking big steps each week. The "recruit" of the year
  8. Tyson almost carried us over the line versus the Dogs... clear BOG
  9. I am a huge fan of Brayden Maynard. Runner up in Sandy Dragons B&F in 2013 as a bottom age 16yo player. Strong, smart and get inside mid/half back. Top 10 choice a lock IMO.
  10. Tyson and Salem deal is a winner. Tyson will be a champion.
  11. Likely draft outcome 1st round #1 Patrick McCartin, Geelong Falcons 195cm Johnathan Brown like key forward 2nd round priority pick #21 trade away for a midfielder: #22 Billy Stretch * father/son -179cm pacy wingman "Frawley compensating" #23 Sean Mclaren, Sandringham Dragons- 198cms ruck/forward 3rd round #42 trade to Cats for Jordan Schroeder - 184cms half forward/mid. Goalkicker and tough. Free agent - Matt Rosa - 190 cms classy wingman Upgraded rookie Mitch Clisby thats 7 in
  12. This thread get to 500 pages by November. 1- McCartin 2-Wright 3-Brayshaw 4- Petrecca 5- Lever Nth will be desparate to get Brayshaw. Ryan Bastinac and North pick 12 (9th place) for our pick 2. Assume MFC gets priority pick and pick 1.
  13. With Mitch Clarks retirement, it does bring Patrick McCartin into my draft targets. Comparison to Johnathan Brown is a big drawcard. Imagine Hogan and McCartin in the same forward line. Giants have Patton and Cameron and we should aim for 2 key forwards.
  14. Contested possessions = Christian Petracca
  15. "Demons cull recruiting team". After poor recruiting over the last decade, Jason Taylor and Todd Viney will have town hall meetings with Demonland representatives. " We could only do better" said one Demonland poster. Cook, Gysberts, Morton were spineless types all clearly not up to the rigors of the AFL. Young men with grit, determination, a desire to win are needed. We cannot continue to get it so wrong.
  16. Wright is good but injury prone and I worry about the MFC curse !!! Angus Brayshaw is elite. Tough, skilled, smart ... Gary Ablett junior like. He is gold
  17. Thats ok. I called for Wines and Freeman/ Dunstan/Sheed over Salem. Mature bodies with grunt. No Grgic, Cook, Gysberts or Morton types. We have no gym and IMO must draft players who are ready to go.
  18. 1st round #1 potentials Angus Brayshaw Pat McCartin Christian Petrecca ... my choice Jake Lever 2nd round Billy Stretch - #19 father son #20 frawley compo - Tom Lamb. A huge talent. Draft talk in April !!!!!
  19. Nev will be at Casey for another 12 mths .
  20. Just read on AFL website that McStay has been courted by some clubs and may go Top 30. He will be a very good CHB type.
  21. I hope this kid is available at pick 40. Is exactly what our "2017" premiership team will need.
  22. spirit of norm smith replied to 71 Molloy's post in a topic in Melbourne Demons
I was a big fan of Elliott Yeo when he played for WA UNDER 18s. He is an ideal HBF w/o runs the lines & has elite disposal. Worth investigating. PSD#2 would be good. Stuff the Lions.
  23. Why not just "any reasonable offer" to be considered...
  24. Jimmy Toumpas needs to be back at Casey and brought on with a view to 2014. Give him a break from the destruction of MFC 1sts right now. (posted for the 4 th consecutive week !!)
  25. Jimmy should have a spell for a few weeks. Back to Casey to get possies, and the winning feeling again.
