  1. Cats fans having nightmares still
  2. Just love his excitement. Our Kozzy is a ⭐️
  3. Fantastic reading. Love the memories of these victories. It’s nice to remember the great moments of the Dees amongst the horrors of many heartbreaking losses or disastrous thrashings. It’s the journey of life and of being Dees fanatics. Let’s enjoy the good times and the celebrations. Premiers 2021. 🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆
  4. Tragic. Heartbreaking. Col had the talent of Trac and Clarry. If only he had the others around him and the mental support and development like MFC has today. I remember his 5-goal - 30+ possessions game PLUS he was always generous with his time and his humour on social mfc events such as family day at Luna park. Rip Col.
  5. Fritsch definitely on the trajectory to be the most successful since Ronald Dale Barassi. Still only 24. 85 games. 118 goals. The famous number 31. It has gone to “potential young stars, big name recruits and number 1 draft pick”. Ultimately the next most successful number 31 might be a young bloke from Coldstream who wasn’t drafted, did the hard yards through the VFL then got his AFL draft opportunity. 👍🏻
  6. Assume all goes to plan and Taj becomes a Demon, do we give him the number 22 ? I think YES
  7. No. Has spiraled downwards over the past 2 years. Suggest injuries and work ethic mean his best is well in the past.
  8. Hasn’t he really spiraled down in the last 2 years.
  9. Nominated as Demon father-son. Great news.
  10. Still waiting
  11. https://sportalburywodonga.com.au/person/campbell-chesser Campbell Chesser ”the 16 year old from Wodonga…” ”the former Wodonga turned Lavington footballer”
  12. It’s a sign of a strong team when delisted players get picked up elsewhere. Jay had strong attack at the footy and could still strongly. With Jetta retiring, I thought he might be able to stay on and be considered for the small defensive role. Not to be so we wish him good luck.
  13. Sounds like a kid who is mature beyond his years. Had to grow up fast and it’s likely the death of his father makes him appreciate things more. He is probably not on the radar from a needs basis but JT sees character and potential highly so he could still be on the list.
  14. Anyone know the cutoff date for nominating as a father-son selection? Definitely like to see us nominate Woey jnr.
  15. Chesser is from Wodonga and boarded at Melbourne Grammar. Played at Sandringham Dragons. Quick burst of pace. Seemed to do a lot of media and very presentable young man. His injuries may see him slide down outside round 1. But his under 16s carnival form was outstanding so he will have to be strongly in the frame. If Dees want some outside mid pace, he may be seriously considered.
  16. Well said Lord. Agree Dogga is a rare athlete and hard to put pressure on young Mac Andrew to try to copy him. Mac is very light and raw talent. Mac Andrew is definitely worth getting into your footy club but hard to justify top 4-5 pick on a youngster who needs development and the pressure of a top pick. Would love to see the young man stay in Melbourne and at MFC and have plenty of time to develop over min 3 years imv.
  17. I like your thinking here 🤞Mac
  18. Yes definitely more of an outside midfield runner. Like to see him brought in as a Rookie. Then get him into the Brayshaw household as another young Demon boarder. Even if he didn’t make it, the Brayshaws produce and develop fine young men and footballers.
  19. Thanks Turner for the support and not the trolling. With the Dees premiership, I was hoping it’s positive energy on DL for the future. Usually a 70% strike rate. Actually as well the considered later picks Mansell, Ford and Winder looked ok in their AFL debuts this year. Got Salem over Freeman, Petracca over McCartin (who didn’t, yes the Saints) , Oliver over Parish. Liked Wines over Toumpas as we all did. Thought Gysberts and Lucas Cook picks were a (censored). Definitely got Scully & Trengove over Martin wrong (but they were the chosen ones). Got Bowey wrong (he’s a beauty and ok to be wrong. Saints were bleeding once again😢). It’s a guess work without interviews and all the backgrounds and full access that recruiters have. It’s all a bit of a fun, a distraction whilst we spend 5 months waiting for the action to begin. There’s no guarantees. JT is a legend and he’s been one of the keys behind our success. In JT we trust 🏆
  20. 21. My laminated poster arrived last Friday the 22 October
  22. Lots of mid aged talent on the list and big Maxy has years ahead of him in combo with Dogga. Dogga, Riv, Kozzy, Jakey all with 10 years of footy ahead of them. Lots to enjoy. I’m sure Goody will want to stick around.
