If it was my team I would bring in Kent, Terlich, Evans, Jetta etc. I think Neeldy has a problem. Having all these players in the team doesn't fit to his structure. He needs some talls to bring ball to ground then crumbers. So he will have 2 talls in the team who are not in form only to adhere to structure compared to two inform smaller players. One example would b Kent showed more in pre season then Pederson but Pederson got a game. Then u look at Port Adelaide. Didn't really matter how many smaller players they had on the ground as they lead into space to receive the mark and keep possession. You would think we would have gone man on man after half time since we had more talent on the park to change game around.

I know what your saying Ron. I'm just frustrated. I still can't believe how many times we kicked to a pack situation. I've never seen this before to this extent. It was shocking. Anyway I'll b there next week. Hope they prove me wrong.

Neeld needs to change his game plan.

Ron were u at the game today? If so you must have been sitting on the first level where u couldnt see the whole ground or either u dont know anything about football. One or the other.

Mark Neeld is gone. I sat on the third level to see our game plan and to see how have we improved. 97% of the time when we had the ball we would kick it to a pack situation (50/50) instead of leading into space in front of your opponent to mark the ball. I could count on my hand how many times we lead to mark the ball. Worst performace from melbourne I have ever seen. Kicking to a pack situation every kick is what you do in year 9 football. Bye bye Neeldy.

My 2013 wish list - Players should lead everytime when his teamate is about to kick the ball. It's easier to maintain possession than kicking it into a pack. - Only kick down the line to a pack as last resort - Take more risks and play with flare - Hope all players have good run with injury. - Minimal off field issues Amen

U guys r off ya head if u think Dees will make finals. We will improve a lot tho. I say finish 12-14.

No chance we can get any worse. Rodan, Byrne's, Dawes, Viney, Toumpas, Terlich in tandem would have a lot bigger impact than Green,, Moloney, Rivers and Morton. Not to mention less off field dramas, 2nd hard slogged Neeldy pre season. Watch our players improve a lot in 2013.

I reckon whoever thinks that we have done poorly in this years free agency is a goose....

Unless u want us to be on the bottom of the ladder again next year ralphiusmaximus. What have our shitloads of high draft picks done for us? Not much. Well done so far Neeldy.

Yeah that team looks a lot better! The only problem about thinking we will have immediate improvement is that bringing in all these new players it will probably take them 1/2 to 1 year to get used to the Neelds game plan. But certainly there will be improvement next year no doubt. But don't get carried away.
