How was he under extreme pressure? Dogs player was 2+ metres away with his arms in the air knowing what the defender was going to do before he did it. The whole point is to try and keep the ball in play.

Surprised Hannan is in ahead of Harmes. Edit: And ANB. No Tyson either. :\

JLT Round 4, Thursday 9th March - West Coast at Subiaco
Seraph replied to McQueen's topic in Melbourne Demons
Is Trengove playing or just sitting on the bench all game? -
And he's out for 4 weeks. Brilliant reporting.
-
He's been right into the pies over summer, clearly.

Ah, cheers for the clarification. I'd seen it on twitter but they didn't have the full text. That's great news.

Keep in mind this is an 'alternate' clash jumper so I doubt we'll be able to use it during the regular season. I think it's more about showing the AFL that we can have jumpers that don't clash too much but don't have to white.

It shouldn't. Regardless, they graded it as careless! A hit to the head after the ball was long gone seems rather intentional to me.

Half time, they're playing 2x20m halves -
Should be back training by pre-season comp.

It's 4:35pm Saturday.

Punishment has come from the club, Clarry fined a 4 figure sum, required to attend road safety education and also organise an expert to come and talk to the group about the dangers of drink driving and the link to road trauma. Well handled I'd say.

Cunningham wasn't picked up by any team, might be a sign? -
Dawes was always full of quality and had plenty of character and team spirit, his body just let him down.

Could be, either way it's rather ridiculous that he's even making these claims at all.

Sorry I edited it. I'm assuming the trigger is 50 games played for the club. If he played every game this year and we made the GF after losing a qualifying final, wouldn't that mean he gets to 50? He has played 24 games. 23 rounds, 1 bye, so 46 played. Qualifying final, semi, prelim & GF makes 50 played.

What 4th year when you're not even playing a third? [censored] me. So he's claiming that due to last year, he now can't play enough games this year to mean he gets a 4th year. I'm assuming that it means they're regular season games and he had to get to 50 games played to get an automatic extension.

Does it not become theirs after they acquire it through a trade?
-
That's a partial win for GC, who will most likely get a pick similar to 24 back next year in what will be a better draft.
-
Got dropped to the Development squad for the second half of the year. He's gone.
-
Dawes to be delisted after no-one wants him?
-
So what are we going to do with 57 & 59? I feel like we're going to need to trade players/picks to get higher up in the draft.

Massive difference between getting a pick back at the start of the 3rd round compared to the start of the 4th. -

I mean a backup plan to ensure we have a second round pick from somewhere. -

Yuck. Hope we have a backup plan in mind.
